Hello, You probably have brake pads that are worn down to the sensors. You will need to take it to whomever does your repairs. It could be either the front or rear pads or both.

Just as an update on this. The solution from Gator was shared by the Mercedes mechanics who checked the brake pads and disks. However, the actual cause was that I had my battery changed last week because the old one was not holding a charge and this sent an error message from the SBC brake system which relies on good voltage. The message should have been cleared by the mechanic who changed the battery but since it wasn't cleared has continued to come up because as a safety warning it has to be manually cleared.
10/10 for my Mercedes dealer though as they did the diagnosis and reset the fault meory for free.
