Is your car giving you an error code? Or did someone give you a diagnosis? The transmission solenoid(s) are in the trsnsmission body so you need to pull the pan, probably the valve body. Not a job for the typical DIY.

most pin numbers are only 4 but to sort it out you ring the bank and not your friend

Yes disconnect the battery NEGATIVE (-) cable for 5 min's, this resets the idle learn and all other functions.

I am hearing from you that you did this and that but I will start with this there is no problem with a lot codes they are hear to help you not tell you the problem with the car its their as a helping tool to telling you whats is not working!! The problem could be more than one thing but I will tell you what you can check out and see!!! I need to know what is not car for one!! From what you said I will tell you this much sounds like you are having a open ground circuit breaker some were going from or to the ecc or the eec mod! You need to see diagram for it and trace the wires down Evey one top to bottom I will bet you thou the eec relay is ground sometimes and then some times not!!! Also stop clearing out the codes for your car bc the car comp. Is working bring them up and fighting the sin. I need to know what do codes are for it so I can help you out and the engine power con. Is the relay being grounded in but not out so the circuit is open!!! 4000 RPM's? ---Check the throttle cable, sounds like the throttle body butterfly is hung open.

Left Bank 1----------3---------5

Coils----<-5-2-><3-6->-<-4-1> Back of Engine

Right Bank-2----------4---------6

This diagram shows where your Spark Plugs/Cylinders Are.

And the 3-Coils each coil supplies Voltage to 2- Plug Wires.

Which i Show in the Center of above diagram ,#1 Plug wire goes to #1 on the Coil which in the Diagram is the Rear Coil and the farest back. So- on ! This should get you going. Hope this Diagram Loads Down Proper.

ck to see if your throttle body is dirty. Buy a can of berrymans b12 carb cleaner (spray) and grab a friend. Take off air intake and expose throttle body. Have your friend start the engine and throttle up to 2000/3000 rpm and spray cleaner all arround throttle body while running. It will run like **** while you empty 1/2 to 3/4 of the spray into throttle body. Turn off and disconnect battery for at least 5 min to reset computer. reconnect and presto good rpm's no more slow idle and dying.

Your friend is probably right. To diagnose, get a volt-ammeter, and one-by-one, remove each fuse, connect the leads, and look for any current flowing.

Try the wrecking yards to find another transmission. I have no idea what a shell casing is in a transmission.
