It has a hydraboost brake booster right? Sounds like a bad Power steering pump. The belt is still on it right?
Check the belt and the fluid level in the power steering
No, if there is fluid in the pump, start the engine and take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the return line. The pump should wine like you are holding the steering wheel at a turn stop. If it doesn't, replace the pump.
Yes the P/S could have a green tint to it. No, you don't have to bleed the brakes.
There is no pressure on the lines at the pump with the engine off. Yes you will need to fill it back up after changing the pump with either power steering fluid or transmission fluid.

thats good fluid their is a wire pinched between axle and bottom of engine i pulled it out and followed it to the back of the steering pump could this have shorted anything out check all fuse and everthing is good
should the fluid color be dark green in the pwr steering bottle and do i have to bleed the brakes after i replace the steering pump. The brake pedal is all the way up.
Thanks looks like i have to replace the pump is there any pressure on the hydrolic lines when i remove them and do i top up the steering bottle with pwr sterring fluid.
