My brake lights are stuck on, and my fuel pump kicks off after 30 sec after starting the car, would the brake lights cause that problem

Sounds to me if its a rotten egg kind of smell I would be looking at the catalytic converter. If its a fuel smell I would be looking for a possible external leak . You can do this by setting the emergency brake vehicle in park and rotate the key to the on position. You will hear a hum as the fuel pump kicks in, follow your fuel lines from the tank to the manifold. You may have to cycle the key every few minutes cause the pump will not run continuously. Genarally with a stuck injector you would get an engine light either because of a miss fire code an emmision code for runnig to rich. If no engine light focus on external leak.

Throttle positioning sensor if applicable, map sensor, vacuum hose leak? crank sensor, cam sensor, sending unit. just some ideas

Turn key to on for 5 sec then off 5 sec then on 5 sec then off 5 sec then on 5 sec then off 5 sec then start. If start good = loss of fuel pressure. Probably the fuel pump if this is the case but could be fuel leak, return stuck partially open, leaking injector into the motor etc but likly pump. Let me know how you go with the on off test

take off your fuel filter and see if you can blow through it if not replace it and see if this fixes your problem

is your fuel pump on check for a safety cut off switch to see if it needs to be reset. if not a power to pump problem could be your pump sock is plugged or the pump has failed.

sounds like the anti theft is on
check dash lights after key on for 30 secs if security light still on then time to look in manule failing thet call dealer as you might need a re program

sounds to me like your check valve in fuel line is not working. If you have the original lift pump it located in there.

change fuel filter if its okay check fuel pressure.

You should try re-learning the pass-lock system first. Turn the key to the on position and leave it on for 10 min, or until the security light goes out. Turn the key off for at least 30 sec. Turn the key back on, very important not to turn too far and bump the starter, for another 10 minute cycle. Do this 3 times for a total of 30 min. After the 3rd cycle it should start.
