Spark plug wiring from distributor cap to spark plugs on a 95 honda civic dx 1.5 liter 16 valve sohc

If you look at the distributor cap from the wires side carefully, you would find either a line mark on one of the outer side of four holes (where the spark plug wires are inserted) or the numbers printed on the top of distributor cap (1,3,4,2). Fix one end of the longest high tension plug wire into number 1 hole or the one marked with a line mark on the distributor cap and the other end on spark plug number 1 (the number 1 plug is toward the pulleys and the belts side, then No 2, No 3 and No 4). While standing in front of right wheel you will see the distributor cap in front of you. The rotor moves clock wise. After you fix the 1st cord, next comes number 3 plug wire. Insert one end of the cord into the next to 1 on the right hand side and press the other side of the cord on spark plug number 3. Next to 3 is the cord number 4 and the last one is number 2.

No spark on the 98 honda civic ex coupe coil is good and icm is good what else could it be?

If the coil is good and giving out spark and your ICM is good the cap can have a missing button which will not allow spark to go to the spark plugs through the plug wires do replace the distributor cap and rotor and spark plug wires

I have a 91 honda civic and need spark plug wire diagram

Fire order
1-3-4-2

Cylinder #1 will be the one closes to the fan belts and so on 1-2-3-4, on the distributor cap there should be a # 1 stamped on it, put cylinder # 1 spark plug wire on that one, install spark plug wire in firing order clockwise on the cap, the cap some time's might even have the firing order on it.

1995 honda civic d15b7 cranks but wont start. new

Are you sure you have correct timing? its definetly a fule problem, if timing is good then turn your key to the on position and try to listin for the fule pump to prime. While the key is in on position go to fuel rail, there is a valve on fule rail called sharader valve. Get a small screw driver and press valve in to check if car has fule pressure. if pressure is present then it is incorrect timing or possible bad cam sensor.

Removing honda civic distributor cap & assembly.

The distributor is driven directly by the camshaft. The end of the camshaft contains a set of grooves that engage the distributor shaft. These grooves prevent the distributor from being incorrectly installed.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Using masking tape, remove the spark plug wires from the cap and number them for installation as they are removed.
From 1988-onwards, all Honda Civic series models were fuel injected.
  1. Disconnect the vacuum hoses, the primary wire and the high tension wire. If equipped with fuel injection, remove the four prong connector from the crank angle sensor.
  2. Remove the hold-down bolt(s) and pull the distributor from the head.

I put my spark plug and wires on the wrong holes need a diagram to show me how to do it is for a honda civic 1997 1.6 L

This can be a funny little problem but not so hard. #1 plug is closest to the timing cover and then 2,3,4 back to toward the transmission. With all the plug wires snapped on to the plugs and the cap ends hanging loose, label the cap ends with their corresponding hole number. Now we know that the firing order is 1-3-4-2 and the rotation is clockwise at the distributor end because hondas turn backwards. So there is only four possible combinations. Arrange the distributor cap wires in a clockwise direction: 1-3-4-2 for each four possibilities, and crank to try it. Chances are you'll hit it the second time - 50/50 odds anyway :-)
