Here is the definition for the code.
You may need the dealer or a shop to check it out.

P1614 HYUNDAI Description There is a communication line between Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Electronic Throttle System (ETS) unit. Using this communication line, various data, such as throttle target angle, TPS output, APS output and diagnostic trouble codes regarding ETS motor, TPS and APS are communicated between PCM and ETS unit. A malfunction is detected by using a checksum technique for verifying data. The digital data is composed of zeros and ones. A checksum is the total of all ones in a string of data. By comparing the checksum value with a stored value, a malfunction can be detected. Possible solution- Powertrain Control Module (PCM) harness is open or shorted
- Faulty Electronic Throttle System (ETS) unit
- Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

What does code P1154 mean on a hyundia sontona 2002

You sure that's the right number?
For Hyundai, it shows codes 1151 and 1155, both referring to the electronic throttle system (ETS). I did not find a code P1154.

P1151: ETS Main Accel Position Sensor 2 Malfunction.
P1155: ETS Limp Home Valve.
P1174: Electronic Throttle System #1 Close Malfunction.

P1193 error code car wants to stall when stopping and accelerating

P1193 = Detected engine speed below 470 RPM. There are several possible causes/components which can contribute to this drivability issue. ELECTRONIC THROTTLE SYSTEM (ETS). In most cases, an ETS related DTC will set in pairs of codes. The first code denotes the related system or component. The second code is for the specific fault detected.
There was also probably P1191 - limp home

For this issue, on frequent occations I've found the throttle position sensor (TPS) (potentiometer) had bad spots in it and subsequently sending erratice signals to the ETS Control Module (additionally, the throttle body and plate had carbon buildup inteferring with the intake air flow. Also check for air leaks (intake air hoses, vacuum lines & tubes for cracks/leaking). Clean the throttle body & plate. Bench test the TPS. You also have an APS (Accelerator Position Sensor) located on the RH side engine compartment near the firwall next to the strut tower. These are the initial components to check/examine. Replace as needed.

My 1999 volvo v70 ets light turns on, how can i fix it?

The 99 volvos are notorious for having bad ETS (electronic throttle system). The 1999 was the first the throttle cable was eliminated and the throttle is controlled by wire. You need to replace the throttle control unit and you need to install a custom software that the Volvo VIDA system provides. You have to buy the software and and pay for the software install and the hour for the tech to install it and the replacement of the module.

At first they were making us clean the throttles and installing software but it was useless. They were going bat so much that they had to extend the warranty on them.

This is when ford bought volvo and things started going down hill.
If you love your car, get a 98. I got two.

The car down shifts on it's own. With out moving your foot.

Most probably the Throttle Position Sensor has gone bad or is going bad. Scan for any trouble codes (DTC's) using an OBD!! scan tool. Your XG uses a drive by wire/sensor system called the ETS - Electronic Throttle System. There is a control module which operates the step-motor connected to the throttle plate. The gas pedal you press is cable connected to a sensor called the APS (Accelerator Position Sensor - which could also be the cause of your 'downshift by itself' issue. Both these sensors are simple potentiometers and can wear out and develop bad spots in the wiper plates/contacts.

Check the accelerator position sensor on the pedal!

If this is what I think it is, on the 3.5 Lit V6, you have an APS (Accelerator Position Sensor) and a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). The accelerator pedal cable is NOT directly connected to the throttle body plate, it's connected to the APS. The APS sends its signal to the ETSCM (Electronic Throttle System Control Module) which in turn activates the ETS Motor located on the throttle body which opens/closes the throttle plate/butterfly. It's a very sofisticated electronic system. Both the APS and the TPS are known to go bad and simply replacing them is no guarantee of fixing problems in this system (often times it does, and frequently it doesn't). You should first verify there is a problem with these sensors (APS and or TPS). They are basic potentiometers (two circuits in each) which provide data to the computer regarding throttle opening for LOAD calculations (ignition timing, fuel injector pulse width, cruise control operation, etc). Best you have this system diagnosed by a professional technician who knows the system.

Error code 1159 told by the dealer it needs a part that cost over $500

The 3.0L and 3.5L engines in the XG300, XG350 and Santa Fe incorporate a Variable Induction System (VIS). The VIS is a secondary set of throttle plates in the upper intake plenum used to increase low end torque while maintaining high rpm performance. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses a Variable Intake Motor (VIM) to control the opening and closing of the additional throttle plates called the Intake Control Valve (ICV).
At low rpm the (ICV) is closed and, as rpm increases, it is opened a specified amount for optimum airflow.
A VIS system condition is not likely to affect drivability, however, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may set. The DTC for the VIS system is P1159 (Variable Intake Target Position). The PCM controls the desired valve position and when the feedback of the
valve position does not correlate with the requested position this code is set. This DTC will not turn the check engine lamp on, however the code will remain in memory.
NOTE: P1159 has been changed to P2015 for the 2005MY.
Please refer to DTC P2015 in the 2005 Shop Manual for further diagnostic information on P1159. (XG350: page FL-555) (Santa Fe: page FL-633)
DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
ITEM DETECTING CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
DTC Strategy Target position monitoring • Poor connection
• Open or short to battery
in harness
• VIS Motor or VIS Motor
Rotation Sensor
• PCM
Enable Condition Engine speed > 3750 rpm
Threshold Value Unable to obtain target value
Diagnosis Time Unable to obtain target position 4 times
MIL On Condition N/A

The VIM is not available as a separate unit from the upper plenum if replacement is needed, therefore the entire plenum assembly must be replaced.
NOTE: With the intake plenum removed, inspect the gear on the VIM to see if it has stripped. Carefully inspect the throttle plate retaining screws that attach the plates to the VIS shaft. If any of the screws are missing (2 screws per throttle plate) inspect for engine damage.
Once the intake replacement is completed (see appropriate Shop Manual for the vehicle you are working on) the Electronic Throttle Position System (ETS) should be re-initialized by turing the ignition key On and Off within 1 second. Then, wait 30 seconds before starting the vehicle. Refer to TSB 05-36-002 for the complete ETS
initialization procedure.
