First of all, a 2004 model engine has no spark plug wires. Exchange the #2 coil located on top of the spark plug chamber with #1 coil and see if that changes the misfire to that cylinder. Yes, it could be a bad plug if they are aged, but the norm is with the coil.

Check spark plugs and wires. Could also be defective Coil.
I recommend replacing all plugs and wires at the same time.

02 chevy 2500hd 6.0 ses light flashing at40mph an gose out at 75mph

The SES light flashing means the engine management software has detected a misfire condition resulting in exceeding 3 times the federal limit of emissions. Under heavy load such as acceleration one or more cylinders are misfiring and once cruising speed is reached the engine is under a lighter load (10 to 20 percent ) that is why it stops flashing several causes of misfires are worn spark plugs ,spark plug wires, faulty ignition coil or coils fuel injector or fuel pressure problems a quick check of the computer to retrieve trouble codes should identify the problem cylinder or cylinders and will direct you in the right direction to find the faulty component but will not tell you exactly what is wrong certain test must be performed to isolate the cause.

Ck engine light is on and miss fire #5

There are few possibilities that can cause engine misfire issues. It can be issue with spark plugs or faulty spark plugs. Also get the compression test done for cylinders. If any of cylinder shows low compression then required, then that particular cylinder will cause misfire.

Also get obd codes scanned, the error code will let you know which cylinder is misfiring or all cylinders are misfiring.

When i turn it on on a really cold day at first some times it makes a clicking sound and wont start then after i get it to start it misfiring then the check engine will come on and start flashing i let it...

I would definitely scan the computer for the codes that are stored when the check engine light comes on and it misfires. One should know which cylinders are misfiring which could indicate a bad spark or bad fuel delivery to a particular cylinder or cylinders.

Then, if it is a random misfire, it may be a bad O2 sensor that is causing the problem.

The clicking sound when it won't start has to do with the battery or the starter not getting enough current from the battery. A new battery may be recommended after 3 years of service on average, I learned at Sears. Probably the starter is ok but I wouldn't rule it out as something that could be changed if a new battery is installed and it still does it.

I have a miss in my 2003 F250 super duty, replaced

I would say to replace the sensor and see if it helps. I assume you had the truck scanned and that was the only problem. The speed sensors usually relate to the ABS and Transmission shift points.

Both Autozone and Oreillys will scan for FREE. After you replace the sensor, get a water spray bottle and go around all the seams you can find on the engine while it is running. If the RPM changes you have found the vacuum leak that is causing the miss.

There is also another test that can be done electrically. It is the cylinder balance test. This directly relates to the compression of each cylinder.
While all the Diagnostics that showed the fault are accurate, the onboard computer does not tell everything.

Usually it can miss the mechanical issues like a vacuum leak, or a bad valve in a cylinder that is firing good electrically without the whole bank running rich with the unburned fuel from that one cylinder. This is because it averages the total burn rate for each bank.

On the V8 engines there are cavities below the Airhorn for EGR flow. If your V10 is similar you may want to look under the Airhorn gasket and clean the cavities. It should only cost your time and a gasket.

I Have a 2003 F-250 Super Duty with a Gas 5.4 engine. The engine will buck and seem like it is not running on all cylinders when I am driving 20 - 40 miles per hour, usally uphill. This does not happen all...

dirty fuel injectors and weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.a faulty tps sensor and air leak at the intake duct.all these problems will cause stumbling on acceleration.

Fiesta 1.2 auto 1996 misfires at 3500rpm was told coil pack breaking down.replaced it and still misfiring.

This could also be a leaking plug wire or an injector that is clogged. A simple test is to try to isolate the cylinder that is causing the problem and check to see if it is getting steady fire and fuel. Hope this helps. Good luck.
