I turned off and took out my key on my 96 grown vic and it stayed running

Check and see what battery you have , if its a calcium battery it can cause that problem if the altinater going because while it has enough power to start the car it mightnt have enough to close the solinide on the pump ,

On my 96 jeep cherokee sport my key is stuk in the ignition with it stuck on acc mode i had to discoonect the battery to keep it from draining how do i replace the hole switch

I have that problem at times and mine I just have to push the automatic shifter forward towards park... there is spot where it lets your key free... It might be something else but I have grown used to pushing that shifter all the way with a little extra force...

Probally needs fuel pump. Pump is in the tank. remove gas cap listen when you first turn on key it will run for a few seconds.

I would try WD-40, spraying down beside the key with a spray nozzle on the end before I took it to a repair shop or pulled the steering wheel.
