There is a button in the rear of my van that opens the 3rd rear seat from folded down position or stow to "nomal position where you can sit in the seat. The seats are split and the small side works but the larger side will not open. It works in fold down and stow mode but not open.

There is a lever located usually underneath the seat somewhere just start moving all the levers while lifting up the seat gently.

chrysler/dodge minivan keyfobs may contain a button for the automatic door/hatch when it is not equipped does the overhead console contain a switch for the door or hatch? if it does then somethings wrong if it doesnt its just another button on your keyless :)

In the middle of the folds in the floor, there is a slide lock button. It is color keyed to your interior or shows red. I can't recall which is locked. This may be your problem. Also both front seats must be forward to open them all the way.
