Firing order
SOURCE: Need firing order for a 1980 Chrysler Cordoba
It is 1-5-3-6-2-4. #1 is at the front of the engine and the distributor turns clockwise. On the distributor #1 is at 5:o'clock looking from the passenger side, or the first hole past the clip at 5 o'clock. Hope this helps.

Hi Friend:
#1) #1 Spark Plug is on the right side facing from the front of your car. And is the Front Plug.--Take your Hand and Follow the plug wire on that side in front to your Distributor Cap .This will show you where #1 Plug wires at.
#2) Now going clockwise on your distributor your Firing order is (===1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2======)
#3) on Your Right Side Facing the Front of your engine is 1-3-5-7 Front to back---On your Left side facing front of engine is 2-4-6-8 Cylinders.
This should get your Firing order in the correct sequence. and get your Vehicle Started.
After you start your Vehicle you'll need a Timing Light To set Your Timing. Its set a 4-6 Degrees before Top Dead Center.
