VW T4 1.9td: annoying beeping sound on dashboard?

that is weird, could be a squeak in your hvac fan, see if it changes with speed of fan, usually a beep is accompanied by a light on the dash as well

have you checked the oil level? Any lack of power when light comes on? Any smoke?

oil switch is on the cylinder head ,pull the rubber boot back on the switch and i think you will find its full of oil behind the boot causing the light to come on and this annoying sound thats driving you to despair

1. Engine off, turn ignition key to RUN - do not start engine - make sure dashboard indicator lights come on

2. Put foot top of accelerator

3. Completely depress and release the accelerator TO THE FLOOR, THREE TIMES in rapid succession, within FIVE SECONDS - press release, press release, press release. Then wait a few seconds and the CHANGE OIL light should usually flash, sometimes accompanied by a few short beeps. Once it flashes it should disappear, and it should be reset.

after driving awhile car warms up and oil thins out need to check oil pressure oil pump may be causing problem or pump screen clogging-bad oil filter - other is possible sludge problem ///lower revs slower pump works and lower drop in pressure same as higher reves higher pressure

You need to get your injectors checked.

door switch is not working.

thats the heater coil symbol for the diesel engines.
does it stay solid at beginning as normal?
if the car drives normal, then maybe its just a loose connection/wire somewhere

Hi Lori . Sorry but it sounds like your water pump inpeller (The internal part that circulates the water) has broken off or come lose . But i would recomend changing the cambelt and tensioner as well . Regards VW Audi tech

a vehicle speed sensor will cure your problems and solve your headache they are both linked electrically..
