SOURCE: 2004 GRAND PRIX RADIO THEFTLOCK REMOVE

You need to enter the unique code for your radio that was given to the orig owner. If you do not have that you will need to see the GM dealer.

2001 pontiac grand am stalls

Have you tried different gas? That was a problem I had with a Grand Prix I once had. You can also try what i believe is called seafoam. You buy it at the auto parts store. My husband put some in the tank of the car I have now (was sitting a long while before we bought it), and it doesn't seem to hesitate any more.

I have a 02 pontiac grand am and the radio is locked the light that reads theftlock is on

HAVE YOU OWNED THE CAR SINCE IT WAS NEW? THE POWER HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED FROM THE STEREO. IT WILL TAKE A LOCK CODE TO UNLOCK IT. REFER TO YOUR OWNERS MANUL OR TAKE IT TO THE LOCAL GM DEALERSHIP.

My 2001 Pontiac Grand Am doesn't want to start. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter about a month ago. It has been running good! Yesterday the dash lights didn't turn on and the car won't start again.

Had the same problem, turned out to be the security system, when the security system has a glitch, the car's computer stops the fuel pump from working to prevent theft, so if you have changed your stereo to an after-market brand, make sure that you have installed a GMRC-1 box, this helps to avoid this problem.

2001 Grand Am won't start then will start day

if you check the car when it runs for codes it would have security codes then for that starting problem if it has ac relay code that can effect the power to the injectors if it has ac codes . unhook ac comppressor and try to start the engine. also at the left front of the car by the ac dryer the wires are prone to rubbing on the dryer and causing starting and driving problems. hope this helps

2001 pontiac grand am radio doesnt work and neither do turnsignals

The radio can only be unlocked at a dealership. They use your VIN to unlock it. I had to do this with a friend's car when I installed a new stereo in her '01 Grand Am. Hope this helps.
