My ABS and Parking Brake lights on my dash stay on and while they are on my AC/Heater wont work. The lights sometimes go off after driving for a bit and the AC works fine. Seems like there is a short somewhere. I don't know. I replaced the Brake Light Switch and it the same problem still occurs.
The abs light is telling you that there is a problem with brakes etc, that is why brake light is on as well. The abs going off after a while is heat in the disc expanding and once cooled light will cone back on. Check abs sensors on wheels.
You need to take it to a qualified repair technician like this guy ! Because neither of you have a clue an never will . Lights on check for code's .

You need to replace the bulbs behind the heater control. The bulbs have rather large filaments, and hitting the control sometimes makes the filaments "weld themselves" back together for a short time. I would not suspect a short or a loose wire.

Somebody left a wire harness unplugged. Look under the dash around the steering column, find something dangling that will fit into something else dangling. Undangle by connecting.
Or:
Take it back to whomever changed the steering sensor, their bad!
Hello This sounds like a bad earth or a wire has broke. Check any wires that go through the A post to the door. Opening and closing the door makes these wires brittle, especially the black one which is the thickest and can cause all kinds of strange problems. Move back the rubber cover and move each wire. If this does not help ask me again and I will try to give you some more pointers.

My ABS and PARKBRAKE lights stay on, and when they do my A/C blower will not work, and my cruise control doesnt work. This happens all the time when I start the truck but goes off from time to time when I'm Driving, and other times it does not turn on when i start the truck. When I use my command start the blower will come on even if the ABS light is on, and it turns off as soon as i adjust the blower fan level. What is the problem?
When an abs light comes on it means that the computer has shut the abs system off, as it usually stays on once you start the car. That in turn triggers the parking brake light. You have a voltage problem in your truck and the cars computer is reading the fluctuations and responding by activating and shutting down certain parameters of the circuit in your car.. Check your charging , battery , and voltage regulator in your truck.
