The car does not have any spark at cyl #4 the coil is new but stil no spark, what can it be,cyl# 1,2,3 sparks fine.
THE PCM driver the COPS direct.
2.0L engine right> always post engine type. displacement.
the 2005 has no fire wall mounted ignitor, like older suz.
the ECU is direct drive to COPs.
in a real shop we check the input to the COP if its bad , the ecu or the wires from ECU to COP are bad.
there are only 3 parts. here. not counting the spark plug
ECU/PCM , wires. and COP.
only using a scope can you tell if the pulses to the coil are present.
they are fast pulse on the order of 3/1000th of a second.
SOURCE: Problem with fireing order on suzuki 1.3 w/coils pack
cannot be specific, had a 98 (now a 99). remember they fire twice- compression and exhaust. if you don't get and answer soon, look up firing order and everyother one should fire together, limiting combinations to two. It doesn't care what stroke it is on
SOURCE: 1998 Cavalier No Spark in cylinders 1 & 4
ignition mod. grounds, pcm or timing belt could all be it but, I would have to look at timing first.
SOURCE: 96 suzuki vitara - radiator empties but no visible leak
Check the passanger side floor board for moisture this could indicate a bad heater core. Then I would check the engine oil and make sure its not milky looking (head gasket). make sure when you fill it let it run with the cap open with you looking into the cap to be sure is circulating and not vapor locked (air pocket)
hope this helps
SOURCE: The car is running on 2 cylinder,
If you have no spark on the coil pack for these cylinders, try scanning the car to see if you get codes for a camshaft positioning sensor or crankshaft positioning sensor.

Run your tests before you start buying your parts. verify that your fuel pressure is acceptable. a defective fuel pressure reg., clogged fuel filter, tired fuel pump, fuel injector, loose or damaged wiring to the injector or coil, maybe water in the gas or too much fuel cleaner/additive.
