My 1993 Lexus LS 400 won't start.

The battery is fully charged and all other electrical works fine. There is no click sound when trying to start it. The dash lights have been taking up to 1/2 hour to come on. Is this part of the problem? The starter was working fine when I shut the car off last. Can someone help? Fran.

I don't know what else to tell you. There are no clicking sounds when turning the key. Is there such a thing as an ignition security module that isn't working? I haven't ever had problems starting the car. Fran

all other electrical will not pull near the load that a starter will , as for dash lights , check all under dash grounds as well as under hood grounds

just because battery is fully charged does not mean it will pass a load test , a bad cell will fool any one

I have '91 lexus 400 im only getting a clicking

More than likely the battery needs to be charged or replaced. If the battery is over five years old this is a strong possibility that it is bad. AAA will come to your location and test your battery, and charging system for free, if you are a member. They will also replace the battery at your location at a costs. I recommend that you become a member of AAA, as one towing, or service call more than pays for the annual membership fee.

My 93 Lexus LS400 wont make a sound at start

Since work was recently done to the vehicle I would look to see if any connections were left unplugged or inadvertantly knocked loose. Make sure to check the battery terminals and cables to ensure tightness and a solid connection.

Sounds like a dead battery to me. You will probably need a new battery, a new alternator, or both.

My alternator won'charge and it and the battery

batteries will show 12 v and still not have enough amps to start the vehicle, clean all the connection points on the battery , and charge it fully, start the vehicle and check again for voltage at the battery posts, you should have a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts, if not, yes you have a alternator malfunction,

My 93 Lexus LS400 won't start. It clicks and according to the battery charger it has a full charge. when i first turn the ignition is slowly wines down then clicks. let me know. thanks

your battery isn't fully charged, or your battery contacts need to checked/cleaned!! The starter isn't getting enough power, this is the reason for the slow spin and clicks.
