You might want to follow the wire(s) that go into your alternator are properly connected. If you have a bad connection on either side it will cause it to cut in and out and fry the coils in it.

I have a 2006 mazda tribute , i replaced the altinator a week ago because the dash lights and headlamps were blinking on and off. replaced the altinator and it was good for a week.... now it is happen

Check for voltage at the battery with the engine running. If you have around or more than 14 volts than the alternator is working. If the vehicle starts with a jump and continues to run without starting than the alternator is doing its job. You likely need a new battery. Most auto parts store will check it for free. If the battery is bad replacing it sooner rather than later will be the best choice.

I have the (apparently) fairly common problem on my 2002 Tribute with the whistling sound under the brake pedal. Apparently the brake booster and gasket needs replacing with an updated item. Is this simple...

It sounds like you do have a bad brake booster. you can buy a rebuilt booster for about a hundred buck plus about a fifty dollar core charge. If you google mazda tribute brake booster repair you will find some good directions if you wish to DYI.

Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.

Electricall problem w/2002 V6 mazda tribute

When that light comes on, it is indicating charging system problem which could mean alternator not charging for one reason or another like loose belt, faulty alternator, or yes, bad battery or connection at battery, for example. First & easiest thing to do is check all your connections to battery, which you've probably done, and make sure they're tight & clean. Make sure belt driving alternator is good & tight, and in good shape. Now boost the vehicle to get it going & test voltage at battery, after you take cables off. My guess is in your case, the voltage will begin to go down, indicating a bad alternator, that will need to be replaced.

Sounds like maybe your alternator's going
Get to an auto parts store and have them check your alternator and battery usually for free....Advanced Auto Parts does this for me free.

Replace alternator

I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute. To change the alternator; the factory procedure at the dealership says to drop the sub-frame from under the front of the vehicle. Then everything is accessable. The tech at the dealership told me how they do it: (Its not easy!!) 1. Remove the right front tire 2. Remove dust pan from right front 3. Remove the brake caliper and caliper bracket 4. Remove the 2 bolts from the half shaft support bracket 5. Remove the half shaft axle assembly 6. Remove the serpentine belt 7. Remove the 3 bolts holding the alternator in place 8. Remove the 3 bolts holding the alternator mounting bracket 9. Remove the alternator mounting bracket 10. Remove the electrical connection on the alternator 11. Remove the alternator by turning the alternator until it will come out of the opening 12. Repeat process in reverse for installation. I did this twice in two weeks because of a bad alternator. The studs that are spot welded on the half shaft bracket will try to keep you from being able to remove the alternator. The left stud on the bracket popped out, when we were removing the alternator and it seemed to make it easier to get the alternator out. I just put a lock washer on the back side of the stud when I mounted the half shaft and it worked fine. Good luck
