SOURCE: malfunction indicator light pgm/fi. What does it mean?
firstly throw the haynes manual out the window as they are not evan written by a motor engineer of city and guilds, but by a so called mechanical engineer ...big difference ,these **** went to uni and spent all there time on the ****,ever read a haynes manual ???its a copy of the manufacturers one ,these authors have never got their hands dirty,i went to uni so the world owes me a living type of snobs . try changing the air flow meter

Is there vibration in steering wheel? Check for bent wheel then check axle...again. Remans are not always good and new ones are just a bit more expensive. Also, check the output shaft bearing for excess play. Also try rotating tires to confirm it's not there.
SOURCE: randomly cuts off while driving.
Have the code read from the computer at any auto parts store. That will help point you in the right direction and at least eliminate some possibilities.
Testimonial: "thanks."
