If you had a manifold, starter, alternator etc just
replaced

How is it that you have any problems

Was the entire car motor & drivetrain not
tested while those items were & replaced
assuming they even failed

Relays last for a lifetime

You may have a failed fuel pump & with
all those parts replaced so far,not very good luck
for some reason

Did you buy someone elses problems

SOURCE: I HAVE A 1995 ISUZU

Could be one of two things.

1. Your starter motor is no good.
2. If you turn on your lights and try to start the car and they dim to almost black, then you need to check the battery connections.

SOURCE: replaced alternator and battery is good but not charging

I found the problem YEAH. It was the fuse that is in the side of the fuse box under the hood, Its where the battery wire from the alternator connects thru a fuse to go to the battery, Its one hundred and something volt fuse. It took care of the problem instantly.... Thank you all for your replies...

SOURCE: Can a bad ignition switch drain battery and

An ignition switch probably isn't the problem, because the vehicle probably wouldn't shut off if the switch were the problem. When you turn your car off the battery is not being drained any longer from the switch unless the vehicle is unable to shut down.
The other possibility that will definately cause a battery to lose juice while not running is a faulty starter sellinoid. When these sellinoid's, (may not be spelled correctly, sorry about that) are bad, the motor is turned off but the battery is still drawing current, but the engine is not running to allow the battery to recharge.
It could also be a bad battery. Check your battery cylinders by removing the plastic covering and checking the water level in the cells. Dry cells in a battery will not allow a jump.

SOURCE: 2001 ford focus will not start. The engine will

I will try to help you. You are correct about the starting fluid, if it has fire starting fluid should do something. So the problem must be either no fire to the plugs or the timing belt is broke.

Check to see if the plugs have spark. If they do not, then get with the Autoparts store and ask if your car needs a Ignition relay to run. Then ask if your car takes a rubber timing belt. If your car does not have a rubber timing belt try the Ignition relay. If you do have a rubber belt check behind the shield in front of the engine to see if the timing belt is broke.

The timing belt is different than the serpetine belt that drives the pulleys. Cars with rubber timing belts have both belts. Should your timing belt be broken it is not an expensive repair. But you will need to details on replacement of that part.

'01 Park Ave. base model will not start fuel pump and starter replaced alternator and battery tested good?

It sounds like a bad crank sensor or a cam sensor, regardless your first step before throwing anymore parts into it is to have it scanned. This will a least narrow the problem down to a specific area.
Ask for a print out of the scan. good luck

Car wont start after replaceing batterty

The most common cause of a non-starting car is the battery. It is either weak, (low voltage) dead, (zero voltage) or has bad connections. (corroded or loose) I will assume you have a fully charged battery with good connections. (both to battery and starter relay) Just becaue its new, don't mean its good or fully charged.

If you remove the starter switch lead (small wire) from the starter relay and apply +12v from the battery to its respective prong or lead on the relay, and your starter cranks, your starter switch is faulty. (not to be confused with your key switch). If you jump the two large wires together on the relay and it cranks, then the relay is faulty. If you jump the two large wires together and nothing happens, then starter is faulty, or wires to starter are loose or broken. Picture of starter switch prong on the relay is pictured. NOTE: sparks are to be expected, so don't be too scared.

My darango won't start, replaced that alternator and relays. starter is still good. but it won't even click over.

this could be as simple as a bad battery have you tryed to jump start it? if you try and that dosent work make sure you have power going to the starter with jumper cables on the battery. it should at the very least make a clicking sound while trying to start it check the battery posts also make sure they are clean and if it does click give it a minute and try starting it again.[ dont take the cables off the battery while waiting] the fact the starter doesent even click when you try to start it tells me no power to it or bad starter remember just because its new dosent mean it works i cant tell you how many times i have put somethig on a car and had to take it back off because it didnt work from the boxx new. and make sure the starter wires are tight and clean. if no clicking and you have power to starter then starter is bad.. i hope this helps..

1999 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L Replaced starter,

Here is a pic of a schrader valve. They all look about the same.3.jpg
If there isn't much pressure, cycle the ignition without turning the engine over and try again. If it is still weak, you may need a new fuel filter. If it is strong, you may have dirty or clogged fuel injectors.

It may be spark, but I'm inclined to think it is fuel related.

Good luck, and keep us in the loop!

Battery not charging

I would check the altenator again. if you didnt disconnect the battery and a spark shot off while installing the new starter it could have decharged the spool on the inside of the altenator to where the spool no longer charges. if you have the altenator checked for consistant charging and it comes up good check the relay for the altenator it most like will have messed up the relay. to make a long solution short check the relay for the altenator it will be in the relay box under the hood.
