Good Evening, its a good question that only you can give the answer for. And if you have oil underneath your durango on the ground and there is oil on your oil pan then I would agree you do. However they are also known to leak between the transfer case and the transmission so you might look there as well. Hope this helps since you have a little more information on the condition of your durango than i do. :-)
What engine does your Durango have? The trans in your Durango should have a drain and refill service every 30k miles. I would have it serviced, and see how things go from there.
BTW, if you have the 5.9/360 motor, you have the 46RE trans which requires band adjustments every so often. If you have the 4.7 motor, you have the 45RFE trans which does not have bands and therefore requires no adjustments.
get a replacement handle to install once you get it open, push hard against the bottom edge of the hatch right below the handle and then use the handle to open it, but once you get it open it is a pain in the **** to replace the handle
iv replaced sending unit and still does it. is the sending unit and switch the same?
