I have replace the air filter already-brand new. What are high tension wires on a car?

  • Anonymous Mar 07, 2013

HIGH TENSION WIRES ARE LOCATED BETWEEN THE IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG.

Are the high tension wires the same as the spark plug wires? Is it possible that it the car starts right up every time, but the high tension wires would keep it from running? I just figures that if it is starting right up that the spark was just fine.

My '96 nissan altima will start then die then not

I would check the fuel pressure with a gauge.
You could have a blockage in the gas tank.

check the injectors and spark plugs

in my car someone put flour in the fuel tank and the fuel pump, pumped it into the injectors where it cloged them up

Changing the fuel filter

Starting at the fuel tank.. follow the fuel lines towards the front of the car. Make sure when you replace the fuel filter that you put the arrow on the fiter the right direction, otherwise there will be no flow and the engine will not start,

Good Luck!
