91 honda civic dx 1.5L quit running properly. Starts, runs for a few seconds just fine then stumbles and starts running rough, check engine light comes on then it stalls. Started as an intermittent problem. I have ruled out the fuel pump. I changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor cap. I checked the ignition control module and ruled out the catalytic converter. Has spark at all four plugs and is getting fuel. I can keep it running by revving the engine but it runs really rough. When I shut it down and restart it runs fine for a few seconds then starts running rough again. Nothing I have done to it so far has changed its symptoms.

Fuel pump could be issue. Check for spark from plugs and see if you can here you fuel pump prime when you put the ignititon from off to run but not start. Should hum for a few seconds and quit.

91 honda civic shutting down after ten minutes of running

There is not an OBD connection on this vehicle but there is a diagnostic port under the hood. It is usually mounted on a bracket on the engine.

91 honda civic dx. Starts, runs for a few seconds then stalls

Try pounding on the gas tank with a rubber mallet or similar tool. (careful not to dent the tank) Try starting it. If it runs, replace the fuel pump (it's nfg). I've diagnosed numerous fuel pumps this way. Remember the pump needs to be replaced, if you drive it, you don't know when it'll fail for good. Hope this helps. Please post the results.

92 honda civic ex starts but won't stay running - replaced relay

well not completely sure but would suggest first giving it a shot of ether in the airbox to see if starts better. to rule out a fuel issue. then ck into distributor. have you ck'd it for spark? is it weak? is it possible the timing belt jumped time?

Sudden loss of power, Backfiring, starts then stalls

Your timing belt could be broken. You want to have this checked as soon as possible to prevent any further engine problems.
