Yes,CRANKSHAFT SENSOR

When a crankshaft sensor has failed or is failing, certain timing problems will arise in engine function. The engine may start normally in some cases, but will cut off after a few minutes (or seconds) of operation. More than likely the engine will be unable to start at all. Since the crankshaft sensor is responsible for engine timing, the driver may experience engine backfire or irregular rpm function, if the vehicleis there something that would disable vehicle whil - icon1.png starts at all.

How to disable awd on 04 chevy venture

I don't think you can disable all wheel drive. All 4 wheels work in harmony to drive the vehicle. Lift one wheel off the ground and try to drive, It will not move.

Just bought 2003 Aztec and the AWD is disabled how do i know if something is wrong . We could not find AWD button ? ??

AWD Disable indicator
The AWD Disable indicator is located in the instrument panel cluster. This lamp is used to inform the driver that the AWD system has been disabled and no torque will be applied to the rear wheels during a slip condition. The AWD Disable indicator is controlled by the powertrain control module via a class 2 message.
Powertrain Control Module
The powertrain control module monitors the data from the ABS controller and Rear Drive Module (RDM) for proper operating conditions. If inappropriate conditions are present the PCM commands the differential clutch pump actuator check valve closed, disabling the AWD system. The PCM also commands the AWD Disable indicator on.

How to disable airbag light

If this is the Air Bag fault light, then have your vehicle checked out and repaired for a failure in the airbag system. Your air bags may not deploy in an accident if you don't get it fixed. When you start your vehicle, the computer checks for the presence of an undeployed airbag. If it doesn't see an airbag it will turn on the light. This could be something as simple as a poor connection. If your planning on driving your can after an airbag deployment, this may be a legal issue, depending on where you live. Legal issues would also apply if your trying to sell a rebuilt auto, without airbags.

Our awd has been disabled for some time and it makes a loud noise. We were wondering if we just need new tires or if it could be something serious.

If this is an All wheel drive vehicle verify the location of the noise. It could be many things. One possability is the universal joints on the axles. I had a ford tempo awd that got pretty noisy. Mine were on the rear.

Drive belt came off pulley loose on 2007 jeep grand laredo

The center pully is the IDLER PULLEY.
It is also referred to as the TENSIONER.

It has a coiled spring that creates the belt tension. Replace it ($15) (and the belt) ($8).

Hope this helps!
