The odometer on my 1996 Chevy Cavalier has stopped working.

Is this a computer issue or is there a sensor that I can replace?

As long as the speedometer is still working. Then the odometer is still working.its the display solder joints behind the dashboard. The speedometer cluster is very easy to take out.also if u can work a soldering gun u can fix it yourself.the factory solder joints get to hot and weak from the heat.u will know what i mean if u take the cluster out.all u have to do resolder the old joints mabee 6 of them.

Were is the tcm on a 1996 chevy cavalier 2.2 it wont shift

There is no stand alone TCM for your Cavalier. The transmission is controlled through the ECM. Sometimes faulty speed sensors can cause shift issues but on the TH125 trans most times it's transmission failure.

Odometer not working 2002 chevy cavalier, tried speedsensor didnt work, tried different odometer didnt work?????

There are three main causes for a Cavalier's digital odometer not functioning correctly: the fuse has blown, the odometer's wiring connector is loose, or the instrument cluster has gone bad.

Toyota cavalier 1996 the abs light, how?

Toyota cavalier??? Chevy tacoma???
You might have a wheel sensor issue (part of the wheel bearing assembly) It tell the abs computer the wheel speed, and if one is bad, it will error the abs, and turn the light on. You can get this checked with an abs scanner hooked up, or ohm out all of your speed sensors with a meter.

2000 chevy cavalier fuse for odometer?

unfortunately it is not the fuse it is the odometer broken internal to the cluster you will need an entirely new instrument panel assemble to remedy the problem, if you purchase one from the wrecking yard and have installed you will be forced to stick with whatever mileage comes on it, if you have a new one installed from the dealer they can program it to match the stored mileage in your origional cluster

Chevy cavalier 1996 headlight not working, day

Did you replace the relay for the day time running lights which for some dumb reason is mounted under the front bumper? Climb under and look straight up and you should see it...mine was mounted in about the center (on the frame in front of the radiator. Sounds similar to an issue I had and it cleared up once I replaced the part...had to get from dealer still.
