Please don't post your phone number on the internet.
The warning light should be a reminder to have the oil changed.
You can drive up to five or six thousand miles between oil changes.
When the oil is changed the reminder should be reset.
You can check with your owners manual to make sure this info is correct.

SOURCE: oil pressure sensor

There could be several reasons for the problem. The first is the plug is off the sensor, thus no reading. Second the sensor itself has gone bad. Buy a new one and replace it, they are not too expensive. The guage in the dash has gone bad (big pain, buy aftermarket unit and install) and forth the ECM has decided to go bad on that particular guage (very expensive to replace). Have a shop put a trouble code reader on the truck and see what it says the problem is and go from there. You can check the wire to the sensor yourself. Also follow the wiring back from the sensor and make sure there isn't another plug that is not all the way plugged in. A lot of times when the vehicle is worked on and a plug is disconnected and put back together one of the pins in the plug will slide back and not go into the plug, thus causing a problem. So look for that also. Good Luck, RAC

It means it's time for service---- to change engine oil -- check air filter and various maintence stuff--- if you have the owners manual it will show you what service to perfoam and to log it in the service book.
Also has intructions in the owners manual as to how to reset the service warning light-- kind of tricky but once you get it it's pretty simple.

SOURCE: An orange light with a wrench and oil can lit up.

Check engine light. Use a diagnostic tool, from most mechanics, to get a clarification of the problem. Its a little hand-held computer you can also buy online for 40 bucks.

SOURCE: HONDA Accord 2008 orange wrench light is on--what

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

How's the car doing? Do you notice anything unusual on the car? As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you have the car scanned by a scan tool. The orange light will be the check engine light and if this is lit the car needs some maintenance check.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have 2007 honda civic and need to reset the service light?

  1. Edit Step 15 ¶ When it's time to change the oilin your Civic, the maintenance light (orange wrench) will appear on your dash, as well as a B1 message, showing an oil life of 15% or less. To reset the Oil Life % gauge, press and hold the SEL/RESET button for about 10 seconds until the Oil Life message begins to flash.

Your mechanic did not reset the maintenance indicator on the last oil change. You just need to reset the maintenance light.

Change oil filter

Just the filter: You need a filter wrench that fits your size oil filter. There are 3 or 4 different sizes, so buy the wrench when you buy the new filter to get the right size. Unscrew the old filter. Use the wrench just to loosen it and then you can use your hand to run it off. Have a drain pan to catch the inevitable drips and spills, and to lay the old filter in.` Use a rag and clean the block where the filter's rubber gasket mates to the block. Make sure the old filter's gasket came off with the old filter and is not still on the engine. Where the filter goes on you should see only clean shiny metal.
Before you start the new filter on, it is very important to put clean oil on the rubber gasket on the filter's base. Just dip your finger in oil and run it all around the rubber gasket-if you don't do this it will surely leak there. Now start the filter onto the threaded stud -the mounting stud for the filter-and turn it on down until the rubber gasket is touching the shiny metal base ring on the engine block. Now with only your hands, and not the fil;ter wrench, you need to turn the filter another 3/4 of a turn so it will seal tightly. If you get it half a turn and it gets tight, just squeeze a little harder=get as close to 3/4 of a turn as you can.
You are done. Pat yourself (wipe your hands clean first.). When oil is put in and car is started, check for leaks at the filter.
Good luck.

What does a wrench warning light on my 2010 honda cvr mean

Could mean any number of things as that light comes on for multiple reasons. Oil pressure, overheating, computer trouble codes. Bottom line is to take it to a competent repair shop or the dealer

A wrench appears and 34a I don't know what that means and I don't have the manual, it happen two days ago. I put engine oil because it showed 15% oil.

That wrench is a maintenance minder indicator lettting you know that your oil's service life is at 15%, not that the level or amount is low. Have your oil changed and have the maintenance minder light reset.

How do I change the oil on 2004 Trail Blazer with inline-6,4 wheel drive

Warm the vehicle first you may have to jack it up but you don't have to get the tires off to ground. With the vehicle off in park and the parking brake on and you should caulk the rear wheels with apeice of wood 2x4 4x4.Get a wrench that fits vary tight a box wrench is best you don't want to damage the head of this bolt the oil pan drain plug bolt. Loosen the drain plug so you can turn it with your fingers then put your oil pan under the plug and take it out all the way so the oil goes into the pan. Let it drain 10 minutes or so you can be working on getting the oil filter off. Depending where to filter is mounted on the bottom of the block or if you have remote oil lines that usely go the the bottom of the radiator where there will be a small axess door. You will need an oil filter wrench or strap wrenches work well to lossen the filter but don't remove until the oil is done draining from the engine. When the draining slows to a drip clean and install the oil drain plug don't try to over tighten it will have a gasket or seal you don't to over compress this gasket wipe clean with a rag. Then slide your oil pan under the filter and unscrew by hand this will get a little messy sohave a rag with you. You won't get a lot of oil that comes out of the engine but the filter will be full of oil and much heavyer then to new one. Try to flip it over so to oil goes into the pan then you can get the pan old filter out of the way clean where the new filters base gasket will contact wipe with the rag . Put a small amount of oil on the new filters base gasket you can stick your finger in the old oil and run it around the gasket screw it on by hand as tight as you can then tight en with your filter or strap wrench 1/4 turn Then put your new oil in read your oweners manual for engine capacity and look for with the filter because it will take more to fill the filter. Start check for oil leaks shut off check your oil on the dip stick there will be an opperating range over add oil and full you should be in the middle of that . Then pour the old oil in a container with a funnel and you can take to the auto parts store an dispose of it put the oil filter in the box the new one came in and your done as soon you take the vehicle down off the jack

Orange wrench light in the dash warning lights is on. What does that indicate?

That light indicates that your vehicle requires maintenance. On GM vehicles, this light comes on if the computer has found that the vehicle is in need of an oil change. When did you last change your oil?

What does the orange wrench light mean on an 07 hybrid? it looks like a maintenance light but i have no idea if this is right or what type of maintenance it's suggesting.

The dashboard will show an orange wrench when it comes time for the car to be serviced. The wrench means that the car needs an oil change and the A1 image means that the car needs a tire rotation.
