964, rear spoiler won't work

Start by checking remote switch. Test to see if there is power at the spoiler motor. If there is power getting to the motor check for bad ground. Finally remove the cable that drives the spoiler up and down and apply 12v dc to the motor. If the motor turns check to see if you can turn the cable without the motor and that the spoiler moves. I all power checks out and the spoiler won't move by turning the cable, the gearing that the cable attaches to is most likely damaged.

How do you take off 2004 Ford Taurus rear spoiler wings?

You'll need to open the trunk and remove the trim along the top of the trunk. The trim will be secured by some screws that should be along the perimeter of the trim. Once the screws are out, gently pop the trim off (there will be retaining clips that you don't want to break) and then you can access the bolts securing the spoiler onto the trunk. If you plan to not use a spoiler, you will need to find something to plug up the holes to prevent water and dust from getting into the trunk.

Rear spoiler on a 2005 equinox

Just took mine off. There are three 10mm bolts that gofrom inside the liftgate into the spoiler-one on each end of the spoiler, oneaccessible through the large hole in the center of the gate. There arealso three pegs (that you can't see) mounted on the spoiler just under theupper rear taillight. The pins plug into holes on the liftgate. There's one peg towards each end of the taillight, back towards the roof. There's one in the center of the spoiler, towards the window. They'retight and solidly their holes. There is no tape or glue-just bolts andpegs. You don't have to cut or drill anything. The only tools you'llneed are a 10mm socket, an extension, and a ratchet.

I discovered the pegs when I got fed up trying to figure out what was holdingit on, said to heck with it, I know I may break something, but I've got to fixwhat's broke and gave it good, firm lift up from the window edge. Lo andbehold, it popped off--much to my relief. I fixed what I needed to(stopping the spoiler from vibrating madly as I rode down the road), and justpopped and bolted it back on. You don't need any kind of kit toreinstall it.

Once it's off, you can access the taillight and sprayer. Noproblem.

My only concern now is what I would have had to do if I'd broken one of thepegs. Thankfully, I didn't have to do that, so if you do, I can'thelp. It's easier than it looks, but it is scary

How do you replace the brake light on the rear spoiler on a 2001 Hyundai Accent?

This is the Spoiler Dude. The spoiler light is attached with screws to the spoiler. You must remove the screws and then the spoiler light will come away from the spoiler. Clip the two wires ( Black & Red ). Attached the new spoiler light ( I can get that for you) with a sleeve. Test the new light with the brake pedal depressed. Screw in the new light and that is it. If you have any questions.

Can't get the spoiler, that holds the 3rd brake light on the off

regarding chevy equinox spoiler there are three 10mm bolts one on each end and one in the middle then there are three pins in the middle that snap in. these are very difficult to release without breaking them. If they break use a two part adhesive sparingly to hold the spoiler down or it will hit when you open the hatch.

Ford ka rear spoiler

You need to look on under side of spoiler, and match studs. (two way threaded bolts) to the wholes. after that mark where the stud wholes need to go through the trunk then drill wholes a 16th bigger than the studs. After drilling wholes through the trunk get sillicone sealer around wholes. Install spoiler and install bolts on the underside of your trunk.
