SOURCE: Sporatic rpm increase at 2000 rpm (increases to 4000 by itself)
change tranny fluid with mercon v also can add friction modifier (ford part# m-19546-a) and be sure to drain torque converter as well. should fix ya

i have changed plugs and filters and it hasnt helped the trouble code 524 is something to do with low speed fuel pump circuit
catalytic con.O2 sensors.
524 is false code.needs updates.#1 catalytic con.
just bought the code scanner. so you think the code is wrong and i need to replace o2 sensors
do you have O2 sensor code.I said cata, con.could be clog.
it even misses while idling and misses really bad while accelerating sometimes
tune up,coils,fuel filter.
just changed fuel filter and air and plugs didnt help at all. the miss gets worse and starting to backfire a lil while missig
the only code coming up is the 524
how about coils.
no figured they would show a code on scanner if bad so you think the 524code is false
also have a lifter pecking but that wouldnt make it miss would it
put code scanner back on and now getting 76,524,543
now getting codes 172 o2 sensor lean bank1, 173 o2 sensor rich bank 1, 176 o2 sensor lean bank 2, 524 low speed fuel pump open circuit failure between battery and electronic control assembly. any one have a clue
