or damage from rodents. ROO'S? LOL

caps go bad. electrolytic type. the leak, split open or explode too.
some only short as car hits bumps, never fun this\
hey good luck downunder ! it's 100f here.
Did you try starting in neutral. Maybe you confused the ECU and caused the starter inhibitor switch to malfunction. Try disconecting the neutral on the battery and wait for a few minutes and see if she resets..
Emission control mechanism or relay is either a vacuum plunger type or a relay switch electrical plug that controls vacuum for the smog. Go to the parts store and look at one and ask where it goes or just trace it. This stops from buying one if you remove the hose or connector and the same problem is still there!
my problem was electrical, removing the batt
(neg. terminal) for a few seconds resets the Engine Control Module (ECM)
which operates the full pump relay, there should be a fuse in the relay
box in under the hood labeled ECM or ECU. Pulling that fuse for 10
secs. or so also resets the ECM, try this and if it immediately works I
suggest to drive it locally until it will not start again and repeat the
removal of the ECM fuse. If this work out I suggest that you ECM is
receiving a sensor signal to shut down the pump relay so I've been told,
is the check engine lite on
Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay. Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. See ECM GROUND LOCATION table for ECM ground location. Page 1 of 1 SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS - 2.6L EFI -1994 Isuzu Rodeo
