I am sorry. My car is a 2000 Mercedes S430. It will only shift to 2nd gear and want shift anymore. What is my problem. Thanks

It is a known issue. Normally no fuse as it is controlled by ECM/BCM. Fixes in the link

If its an auto box check oil lvl or do a transmition oil and filter change most mercs are bullet proof and its normally daft things that make them go wrong

I need to see a diagram for putting the serpentine belt back on for a 2000 S430 Mercedes

Try checking the brake light sending unit. Are your brake lights even working. Many newer vehincles will not shift out of park unless the brake pedal is depressed. However, a faulty sendind unit located on the pedal itself can keep you from moving anywhere. Just check to see if your brake lights are working to know if the sending unit is working.
