think it needs a new computer or maybe resetting at the dealers ,bit above me and beyond ,not ask me about a nice set of stromberg carbs ?

could be spark plug, spark plug wire, coil . all of that for cylinder number 4

When the Valve Cover Seals leak past the Spark Plug Seals, it will get Oil on the Plugs, not a huge problem but something you can do yourself with changing the Valve Cover Gaskets

THE FRONT ONES ARE EASY. THE ONES NEAR THE FIREWALL ARE THE TOUGH ONES USUALLY NOT A DO IT YOURSELF PROJECT, AS YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE TOP MOTOR MOUNT AND ROLL THE ENGINE FORWARD TO GAIN ACCESS.

Start by pulling the spark plugs out and seeing if the wells they sit in are fuwell of oil. The plugs are under the coils. The coils are in packs as shown in picture below.

A po300 means you have several cylinders misfireing ! Depending on mileage it could just need new plugs ! If you try new plugs only use delco plugs in that vehicle ; it will save you a lot of problems later down the road !

4 plugs in the front 4 in the back it is necessary toi remove some components to gain access to the rear bank of plugs

change spark plugs,check for valcum leaks. multiple misfire is spark plugs,coil or wires
