The parking lights, dash lights, turn signals, and hazard flasher should be 4 different circuits.
So you would need to know exactly what that fuse protects, then look for the short to ground.

SOURCE: Turn signals dont work headlights dont dim heater fan doesnt work

Did all these problems happen all at one time?? If so you may have a bad body ground. Try running a electrical wire from the (-) negative side of the battery to the body and see if this works. Be sure this wire is to a place with no paint as low voltage electricity will not flow through paint.
A). If not try replacing the turn signal flasher for the turn signal problem. This is usually the culprit and it's easiest and cheapest to replace. The turn signal flasher will be found under the driver side dash next to the hazard flasher. Turn the hazard flasher one to locate it. If you want try swapping the turn signal flasher with the hazard flasher to see if this fixes it. They are the same style flasher.
If this doesn't work you may a faulty turn signal switch or some wiring issues.
B). It could as simple as the head lights bulbs need to be replaced, it's rare but I have seen when both bulbs blew at or near the same time. If your able check the voltage at the head sockets.
C). Could be a bad blower motor or switch. I'm not sure if these models have a resistor block or not. The resister block controls the electrical current going to blower motor which controls the speed of the blower fan.

SOURCE: Brake/turn signals/flashers not working, fuses ok, what now?

There should also be a unit called the electronic flash module / unit. It should be somewhere under the driver's side dash.. unfortunately I do not know where in particular

SOURCE: no turn signals............

If you look under the dash on the left hand side you will see the fuse area, behind this you should see a large ( about 1 - 2 inch) black square block. These usually sell for about 10 - 15 dollars each at the local auto stores. This is a link to a picture of them. Carry this into your local parts store and put in the new one and you should be good to go.

Please let me know if I can offer further assistance! I hope you found my answer helpful - if you need clarification please just ask me!

SOURCE: turn signals/flashers not working

This is most likely a problem with the Body Control Module.

Why does the Flasher unit buzz when I turn the flashers on. My 1995 .5 Isuzu Rodeo. Also the rear antilock brake light is on and the emergency brake light is on my Dash..alsomy dashboard lights dont work...

Your flasher is buzzing because it's a piezo instead of a flasher. I don't know how that would have been connected, but it is. Replace it with a flasher. The E brake light is on because the pull handle is still out just enough to connect it or it stays on because the antilock brake light is lit. Your dash and run lights have a blown fuse, headlights are on a separate fuse is why they still work. Water leaking from the roof shouldn't effect the electrical circuits, but most likely you have a wire or so crossed in the system.

My turn signal fuse blowed got new one now they dont work why

canada or USA, (diffr. laws, different wiring, even DRL up there)
station wagon or NOT?
THE TURNS FUSE BLEW OUT. 2nd time, 3rd,,,?????
that means the circuit is overloaded or shorted.! (prevents fire)
but did it blow a 2nd time, why not say so???

all 4 lamps dead. or stuck on, or flash odd. or what? dim?
does the cluster lamp flash, , in blink or emerg. mode?
wont work , means what, (dead or stuck on or dim)?????
do emergency flashers work? ,dead, stuck on what?
does car drive perfect day or night?
are any other things on car dead, of odd acting?
we see all this , 1st 5 min in a shop, zero here.
ive answered Forenza blinks here, many times.
ever search?

ill now answer by guessing USA non stationwagon and no DRL.
dash box fuse 4 kills blinkers

EF1 (engine fuse) 1 good?
dash fuse 14 and EF1 can kills emerg. flasher

so of Emergancy flash lamps blows fuse 14,(smaller of 2)
then the blinkers are in fact shorted.
does it?
if yes, then find out which side blows the fuse 3.
turns left blow or turns right blows.
so if say turns right blows, F4 fuse.
if true ?remove all bulbs front rear right bulbs.
does the fuse hold now,(means not blown)
then buy new lamps there. problem solved
bulbs can in fact short.
not just blow open.
Tell the full story and all this gets easy.
For sure emergency flash,

Where is the flasher indicator located?

I'm not sure what you mean do you mean the emergency flasher
flasher-indicator-location-soz3sbv2bqs4rejfawoh5mfu-1-0.jpg
that's this what is happening exactly are the hazard flashers not working or is it the signals are not working or both ? before you spend any $$$ please check the fuses for both also go to every light bulb socket for the front parking/turn signals and the taillights and check for blown bulbs (if so if they are wet the lights leaking in water) if not change the bulbs and recheck again if bulbs are blowing out or fuses keep blowing the unit above may be shorted out inside for the hazards or the turn signal switch you can check by unplugging them and replacing the fuse then plug one in if the fuse blows you found the component that is the problem a wire may have broken off to so check each socket and a good length of the wires for breakage or the wires are exposed/bare copper touching the body blowing the fuse below is your turn signal switch to get to either one of these you must take off the plastic covers on the steering column everything that I have listed could be the cause here so the process of elimination will help you find the problem also check your owners manual or download it from ford for fuse location

My signal lights and brake lights will not work I need to know if it's a fuse

The fuse is always the first thing to check, then put turn signal on (and ignition on) step out side and see if the front or rear bulbs turn on but don't flash. Turn on emergency flashers on, do they work? If not could be the flasher relay. Brake lights are trigered by a switch under the brake pedal or wired to the brake master cylinder.

Turn signals on my 1992 Park Avenue blinked slower and now donot work at all. My emergency flashers work fine and all blink but I have no turn signals and nothing lights up when signal is left or righ

About your 1992 Buick Park Avenue 3.8L SFI OHV 6cyl. the Flasher is located:
Hazard flasher: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted above kick panel

Turn signal: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted on support bracket

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

My turn signals have stopped working. I replaced a bulb, thinking that was the problem but they still dont work. I think it may be the actual turn signal switch (in the steering column) but was wondering...

The flasher relay is mounted in the main fuse panel under the dash, driver's side. Are the lights coming on at all, or is there nothing ? it is possible that you may have a bad ground wire to the signals. Do the emergency hazards work ( lighting up and flashing?)If so, then your ground is good and it could very well be the flasher. You should be able to switch the emergency flasher for the turn flasher for a test of the circuit. The flashers should be mounted side by side in the fuse panel - just exchange them and test. If so, keep the emergency flasher there and take the turn flasher in to replace. The parameters should be the same so you can just leave the E. flasher relay in place and out the turn flasher where the E. flasher was.

Can't find the turn signal or emergency flasher fuse for 1998

Conrad, up north.
My protege is a '99. The turn signals and hazard flashers use the same flasher unit. It is located under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and above and a bit to the right right of the driver's side fuse box.

Blinker dont work flasher and other lights work

The turn signals don't work, but the emergency flashers do? If that's the case, replace the flasher, you have 2 flashers, one for emergency (hazard) flasher, and one for the turn signals. It should be on the fuse block under the dash.
