1999 Honda CR-V will not start. I changed the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator along with the fuel filter and the main relay but the vehicle still will not start. The distributor along with the coil was replaced about two months ago, spark is ok. Sometimes the vehicle start for a few second but the engine stalls as if the timming is off but the timing is ok, also sometimes it back fires and when it does the vacuum hose that is connected to the fuel pressure regulator comes off from the regulator. I check the injectors and they are getting power. I disconnected the exhaust thinking of the catalytic but still no start. Could it be the computer? Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It most certainly has logged CEL/MIL codes, have them read and post here.

Well thing about crvs they do not need a knock sensor to run if it was a problem the car will still start but won't pass 4000 rpm the jdm b20 does not have a knock sensor from factory and mine runs fine goes all the way to 6200 no problem just got a cel on but as for your car I would try map sensor or tps sensor on throttle body and check all the routing of your vacuum lines then last resort would be ecu

You need to run a system fault code test, do that by following the instructions HERE, code are also listed at the site.

1994 honda prelude s fuel pump comes on but is not drawing fuel to engine

The fuel pumps the fuel into the engine from the tank. If you can hear it running , then you need to hook up a pressure gauge to see how muck pressure you have. If you have enough pressure then check the injectors to see if they are getting current from the computer to inject the fuel to the cylinders.

Is there a emergency cut off switch for this vehicle? I have changed the fuel pump and filter however vehicle still doesn't start. What have I missed?

All vehicles have an emergency cutoff switch. But did you check the fuel rail to see if it has gas under pressure when the key is turned on? When you turn the key on can you hear the fuel pump kick in with a slight hum for 2 or 3 seconds? Did you check the main relay for the fuel pump to make sure that it was good before you changed the fuel pump? How about the fuel pressure regulator? ARE YOU GETTING FUEL? Are you getting spark?

'99 CR-V troubleshooting fuel system

Could be a fuel regulator also. I would start by checking the fuel pressure with a specialized gauge. The range varies for every auto depending on where you hook up guage you will have some pressure loss, but it should be only a few pounds. I would check for power at the pump also, should be battery voltage. The relay is easy to check, just swap out the relay with one door another one that matches, like for the fan or Windows etc. Look for an embossed number on the relay, to make sure. Make sure to put it back. And replace if that fixes the issue. There's may be a code that could set the dash light on. It may also have residual codes that don't set off the light. An injector issue should ping a specific cylinder with a code. The fuel pump would cause all cylinders to set off codes.

I have a 94es300 i crank it it starts up runs 5 mins shuts off like not getting enough gas changed fuel pump, fuel filter , fuel pressure regulator and ignitor still same whats up with this car

If you changed the fuel pump and the fuel filter and ignitor and regulator,in the list of changes do you know you have a EFI. The EFI main relay turn on the fuel pump which includes the circuit opening relay. Testing it mainly passes with flying colors just replace

After sitting during a warm day my 1999 Accord V6 will crank but will not start. Wait 10 to 20 minutes and the car starts normal. This happens randomly. It will go away for weeks then reoccur.

Replace the main relay. They run hot and with hot internal temps of the vehicle, they fail until they are cooled down. Opening the door or windows allows the hot air to evacuate, this in turn cools the inside of the car (and relay), then the car starts.
