I have a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 6 Cy Auto and of course 4 X 4. The Neutral Safety Sensor Switch had been acting up when the front of the Jeep was sitting low and in Park, but always started when in neutral, however now it is acting up there.
Where is the Neutral Safety Sensor Switch located.

I HAVE A 1996 JEEP CHEROKEE 4X4 6 CYL AND ALL OF A SUDDEN OUT OF THE BLUE IT STOPPED TURNING TO THE LEFT AS IT SHOULD REGULARLY, IT TURNS, BUT ONLY TO A CERTAIN POINT, ANY IDEAL WHAT MAY BE CAUSEING THIS PROBLEM?
OK then the switch is part of the gear selector switch on the side of the trans where the shift linkage hooks up. here is a picture and part number.

It's a 3 speed with overdrive.
It appears to me that the location must be on top of the transmission.
