This is not a very reliable answer but my right headlight went out as we'll and before I bought a bulb I talked to different guys at work, they suggested giving the headlight a good solid tap on the outside and sure enough it came back on. Hopefully this might work for others as well!

SOURCE: I replaced the blown driverside headlight bulb

Try this. right in front of the alternator is a black box. take the cover off and look at it inside and undeneath there is a diagram of fuses and relays. look down at the fuse block you just uncovered anfd you will see the fuses. there should be one labeled on the cover for "Head L/F and Head R/F".

check those and see if that works.

SOURCE: My brake lights are not working. Bulbs look good,

When the brake light is illuminated on the dash, it may not be because the hand brake is engaged. It can also mean that your breaking system is in distress. it is possible that you have a short somewhere between the fuse panel & light assembly or it is possible that the sensor for your rear brakes has malfunctioned. I apologize that I am not as knowledgeable on Nissan products, however I had a similar situation with a Dodge Durango, only to discover that the rear brakes were not functioning. I hope this helps =)

Lowbeam headlights wont work, brake lights are out and check engine light is on...changed th dimmer switch, no luck

For the low beam problem, Swap relays 45 & 46 in the underhood fuse panel. Relay 46 is for the Low Beams. If that fixes the light, replace the relay that cam out of position 46.
Since the high mounted brake light is working, that indicates that the brake switch is good. You need to check the bulbs in the rear tail light assembly, if they are good, check fuse #34.

Headlight doesn't work

Try checking the fusebox under the engine compartment. You should find fuses for both lights in there. also check your light relays also in the same compartment. You might have a bad relay.

2003 alero. Low beam headlight out. I purchased a new bulb 9006 it does not work. There is power at the socket. Could I have purchased the wrong bulb? Should it have been a 9005? all fuses good highbeam...

The wrong one or the one you bought is bad. With so many different bulbs now, it isn't hard to get the wrong one, especially if the parts guy got it for you. The only way to make sure it is right is to pull the other bulb and check the number.

The headlights work but turn signals don't and hazards don't work either and brakelights still don't come on.

one bad bulb will be your problem. Doesn't matter which side. If one bulb is bad in the front or in the back, left or right, then you have the problem you are having. Check your fuses first. Little easier to change a fuse than a bulb.

Low Beam Ligths on 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer not Working

Check fuses & bulbs first, The headlight bulbs may be twin filiment type in which case the lower filliment may be blown & the upper filliment or highbeam will still work in this case replace your bulbs. But these models are renowned for having negative earthing problems. Follow the negative (-) or black lead from the battery to the point it is bolted to the vehicle. make sure there is good metal on metal contact with the negative lead & the vehicle. Then check the negative that comes out of the lowbeam headlight socket insure clean metal on metal contact. If you still cant find a fault, contact a chevy technician.
