I have a 2006 Silverado ext cab. The passenger side door was missing the lock cylinder when I bought it (used of course) The passenger side door also doesn't open from the outside but the inside latch works just fine. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to repair this issue? I don't know what to tell anyone who I find to fix this.

I just looked on e-bay and discovered you will be needing to buy the outside door handle which comes with the lock cylinder.
You can probably buy one of these from a Chevy or GMC truck dealer, or go on-line and check with e-bay or others to get one.
You can also find one at a salvage yard, but there you may not get a key with it.
A locksmith can cut you a key, but a used handle and a "locksmith-key" may cost you more that a new one!
The handle and lock are held on with a couple of screws inside the door shell.
Be blessed.

I found a handle at O'Reilly's auto parts for $34 but I'm not sure if that includes the lock cylinder. Chevy wants $113 for the lock and $30 to key it. I'll definitely check eBay right now. Thanks for the response!

SOURCE: Passenger side door will not open from inside or outside.

linkage on inside of door has come undone. take off inside door panel and you will find a small rod that goes to the lock mechanism where the door closes opposite the hinges. follow the handle to the door lock.the nylon bushing may have broken.they are cheap to purchase at auto part stores.

SOURCE: can't open driver side door from outside--only the

undo all fittings on door trim [arm rest] etc.
panel has pressure plugs so be carefull pulling on the trim to release it from the door!
somtimes you may just have to wiggle a bit
so start on the corner first& work it loose all the way around
check the rodsto the door handle & lock mechanism is still attatched or thtat the handle has broken off the tab that moves the rod

On my 2006 silverado ex cab my passenger side floor get wet after raining

It may be a good idea to replace your weather stripping around the door. That is the only thing that repels moisture and keeps it from entering the cab.

Where is the fuel filter located on 2006 chevy silverado 1500 ext.cab?

Chevorlet did away with the inline fuel filter on the Silverado, so your truck does not have one that can be serviced or replaced like the earlier models had.
They have a "lifetime" filter/strainer built into the fuel sender inside the tank...I hope this helps.

Door handles and locks

you will have to take it apart to know for sure.
But chances are good that you will only have to replace the handles.
the cylinders should be ok as long as the key goes in and it works.

2006 z71 ext.cab 5.3ltr. has a loose marble sound coming from passenger side front wheel.

It may just be a stone that got inside the wheel and hasnt gotten tossed out. It could also be a loose lug nut. A good visual inspection should be able to find the problem. One thing to note, the black plastic caps that hold your hub cap on are not your lug nuts! They screw onto your lug nuts, so to see the lug nuts you'll need to unscrew these caps.

I lost my head lights, dome light, horn door

sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere. Check every ground strap that you can find, make sure it's tight, and not corroded, etc. Sounds like the accessories are trying to find a ground, and going through the brake light to do so, thus burning out from too much current.

I have a 2006 silverado, the fan to the cab won't blow air.

Check the connector to the blower resistor, they tend to burn and destroy the resistor and the connector. Its located near the blower motor on the passenger side footwell.
