Hi
changing tail light on toyota avensis 2008 is a simple affair like the first love. if you access trunk and take the side little pockets you are able to check the hole and insert your hand in ti. now the tricky part, to change the brake light and the helplight they both sit on the same stock. to check this you have to move and see around from outside to check that you are touching the right stock. just when youre sure you can feel a little plastic handle on the top side of the stock this has to be pressed while you press one on the lower end of the stock, it takes time and patience but is achieveable,as in case of every success story, the two bulbs and stock can come out and you can change it.
the second part is of changing the signal bulb this has to be done very simple as it does not have a stock and the bulb comes out but just moving clockwise or anticlockwise dont remember so accurately and this is very simple to change.
to achieve all this there are some points that need to be kept in mind
1. daylight or a torch to check get the idea what we are upto and how the assembly looks, as you will not be able to change the bulb but through a mind picture of the assembly.
2. patience and go easy dont rush it may break some valueable parts and may cause extra money.
3. hope for the best

Yes, and easy access from the trunk. You will be able to remove the bolts from inside and the light assembly will be able to be pulled from the externior to replace all of them. It is not a real quick process, so when one goes out, I usually replace all of them.

hmm, ok, some vehicles i.e.mine ,has a courtesy light cancelling bitton swith on the dashboard on the lft end or drivers side, I guess it's so a person(s) can enter or exit the vehicle in a stealth mode.. It's not the dash light dimmer although that switch also controls the interior lights, what drove me crazy was whether or not the lights had been turned off individually when a door was open. If thats possible at all. Won't hur to ck. If you still have the owners book it should say somrthing. It more than likely is something that simple. good luck

SOURCE: how do you access the rear tail light bulbs to

2006 Sienna taillight.
Open tailgate. Loosen bolts holding tailight assembly. Standing next to the car, pull light assembly toward the side and back of the car. It will feel like you're going to break the light assembly, but you won't. I attempted this last fall (2008), but feelin' a bit uncomfortable pulling on it in different directions, I reassembled it and had the guys at the dealership do it right there in the dealership parking lot. If it was to break, I wanted them to break it! But it didn't break and I saw how to do it next time.

How can I remove my 2004 toyota avensis headlight

Warning: If you have Xenon bulbs, take the car to service for this. They are dangerous to change because of the high voltage.

With small hands it is easier. If your hands seem too big for this, ask someone with smaller hands. Also depending on what side you need to change removing the battery may help or beding the wiper fluid refill pipe a bit.

Change interior light in avensis

As you push the light swithc in (to turn on) you will see a pivot, either side you will need a small precision straight and wedge it either side of the pivot point. The Plstic cluster should remove thus enabling you to put in new bulbs, i on the other hand replaced these bulbs with the error free T10 : Canbus 8 SMD LED No Error Free HID White Xenon W5W T10 501 Side Light Bulbs * You can find these on Ebay, cheap as chips and dont cause any problems.

How do i remove the rear bulbs in an audi tt 4x4

Access to the tail light cluster should be through panels in the rear corners of the vehicle. Remove the panel and you can remove the tail light cluster to replace the bulbs. This is the position on most sedans, unless, like on pick-ups, the tail light lenses have screws which allow the lenses to be removed to change the bulbs.

First just check the bulbs. You gain access to the bulbs from inside the trunk area, pull back any carpet in the way, the holder/socket should pop out with a quarter turn to get to the bulbs.

Replacing headlamp bulbs

Access to change the headlamp bulbs is through the wheel well. The recommended method is to remove the front tire and then the plastic inner fender liner. Once removed, you'll have easy (more or less) access to the rear of the headlamp housing.

2004 Verona: how to change the brake light bulb in rear...

I just replaced 2 break light bulbs in less than 10 minutes on my 04 Suzuki Verona.

First lift your trunk lid and go to whichever side that needs replacement. There was a pull down attachment that gives you access to the whole assembly.

When you have access to the assembly locate the 2 top bulbs which will be for the brakes. Turn the plastic piece which holds the bulb counter-clock-wise to get to the bulb.

Pull out old bulb(you may have to twist it slightly). I bought a replacement pack which came with 3 bulbs(#1157). Then insert new bulb into socket until firm.

Then put it back into the housing and turn clockwise to lock it in.

Then repeat the same process for the next bulb and your good to go!

If you are having any kind of difficulties with it your owners manual shows you how under bulb replacement.

How to access the tail light above the trunk? I

you must slide the entire high mount brake lamp unit to the left( pass side) and lift straight up. unplug the wire and remove the unit, it will be easier to change the bulb this way. make sure you use the correct bulb or the warning lamp will not go out.
