The speedometer is not working on my 2005 chevy tahoe
The knock sensor is on the engine block under the intake manifold while there you might as well replace both of them I have a 05 Tahoe and recently changed mine
The sensor is in the side of the transmission where the speedo cable once was.

Knock sensor can be found on top of the engine block, there are two you ´d have to remove the intake manifold to get to them,

it is in the valley of engine behind intake.at back of engine you can get it out with a thin walled oil sender socket.

Unfortunately, the knock sensor is located UNDER the intake. You have to pull the intake off. I had a mechanic do mine. He said its best to replace both because they both corrode. (2 sensors, intake gasket, labor ($250)

as long as all the fuses are good.. its probably the blower resistor/module... located next to the blower motor under the pass. side of the dash..

The Hall Effect Speed Sensor is located right behind the brake caliper, look for the wire leading upward towards the engine compartment from the caliper..its under the rotor so you'll have to remove the rotor to find it
