Hyundai elnata '96 strange sound in engine

03 Hyundai santa fe, 2.7L engine
M6x38 mm bolts, 96--106 inch lbs.
M8x38 mm bolts, 15-19 ft lbs.
no sequence given in the specifications guide manual.

Comon problem - first - check injectors - they can overleak -second - pressure on pomp too low- damage inside from bad fuel - this is extremal but hapend .
I thing more about first posibility - try start at this

sounds silly but have you looked for a stone/nail in the tyre tread.strange noises are a bt s t rd to diagnose.......

something is wront with the a/c comressor. but only when it does that with the a/c on. if the a/c is off, compressor should spin freely.

sometimes loss of power can be caused by a clogged catalytic converter which can make the car at times hesitate, and about the trasmission maybe the governor on it might be faulty what that does it changes the gears when it reaches certain speed

It can be broken baring wheel on waterpump,you can change pupm, belts tensioners. Or it can be hidro valve- which engine oil do you use. Use not 5w30-its too thin ,better use 5w40 or 10w40. Zoran Vrgec, Osijek, Croatia

Problem is most likely to be mass airflow meter. Try disconnecting it and see if the problem stops
