Try hitting your dome over ride switch 4 times with the truck running. You should hear a couple of dings and your headlights should shut off. Now hit the switch 4 more times and see if that resets the auto lamp system. If not the next thing I would check is the brake light switch, its under slightly under the dash attached to you brake pedal. Those can slip out of the proper position and cause problems with some of the electrical systems.

WHAT YOU MIGHT CHECK IS THE FUSE FOR TAILLIGHTS, OR DASH LIGHTS. THEY WORK OFF THE SAME FUSE. IF THE FUSE IS BLOWN THE HEADLIGHTS WORK BUT NO TAIL OR DASH LIGHTS

I have a 2005 chevy trailblazer and the low beam lights randomly work. I have to drive with my high beams on. we have changed the bulbs, the relay. sometimes the low beams come on in the morning

if this unit has a multifunction(turn signal switch with head lights) switch its about 99% the problem. for sure it is the dimmer switch wherever it is located.

Dome lights won't work on my 2005 Chevy equinox

The courtesy lamp supply voltage circuit of the body control module (BCM) supplies battery positive voltage to the dome lamp, the liftgate lamps, and the map lamps. When any door is opened, the door jamb switch contacts close providing a door open input to the BCM. The BCM then provides a ground to the interior lamps with the switch in the AUTO position. The interior lamps receive a ground at G401 with the switch in the ON position.
The following lamps may be manually turned ON by placing the interior lamp switch in the ON position, or by opening a door while the switch is in the AUTO position.
?€¢
The dome lamp

?€¢
The liftgate lamps

?€¢
Courtesy/map lights

You can't turn them on manually ?
This could be a BCM problem , this best left to a ASE certified repair shop or the dealer .

How do i find the talight relay sensor for a 1997 chevy cavalier

No such thing , tail lights get power from headlamp switch . When you turn on park or head lamps . tail lights light up . License plate lights come on as well as side marker lamps . Unless you thing of the turn signals an hazard lights . There is a flasher relay for that .
Turn/Hazard Flasher
At the left lower instrument panel, near the steering column

Can the 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe automatically turn on the low beam head lamps at night?

No. It has auto lamps.all newer vehicles have them. Some you can turn off. You have to have the light switch in the dash. If it is in the turn signal switch/ column. Your out of luck.

Are the head lights on all the time 1999 chevy silverado 1500 4x4

In the 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500, the headlights are not designed to be on all the time by default. They are typically controlled manually by the driver using the headlight switch, although some vehicles may have a daytime running lights (DRL) feature. If the headlights are continuously on, it could be due to a modification or wiring issue, and it's recommended to consult the vehicle's manual and seek professional assistance if needed.

Dome light turns driving

i turn on what light the head light switch.
most cars have a dome light feature for turning on the dome.
see the operators guide.
the dome turns on 3 ways (more)
any door open (each door has a jam switch to do that)
the lamp itself side of it switch on. (and a defeat switch , on most)
the dash lamp switch to do it from drivers seat.

Door jamb switch

all doors there are drivers, and then OTHERS, (wiring)
its wired OR logic, so any switch grounds, it turns them on.
and is programmable on all cars. to have this on or off (features explained in the operators guide, lost that?)

CRV has 3 lamps
front dome
rear dome
and spots.
all of them are messed up? for all doors.
if yes, ITS programming. is wrong.

the rear light is directly controlled lamp to rear lamp. (hatch glass or gate switches.
and has a slide switch, off,on, auto.
the spots lamps are direct. on, or off
the front however is totally different and wired unique.
as you know the drivers door is unique, as it operates the
keys left in igntion, or head lights left on, mode. so if those work
right then the drivers door switch, is,, working......
the front dome
has 3 modes. again , off , on and auto .
Auto is the MCU , unit, the MCU sees any door open and the front dome gets input to the AUTO pin, and if in auto the lamp glows.
i dont think the MCU is programmable but do read the oper guide for that., i dont have one.

I have a 1995 chevy caprice... the headlights intermitantly go off and on. I have changed the multi fundtion switch and the high/low beam switch but problem still lingers.. any suggestions?

Did you try the head lamp switch. The one on the dash not the steering column?if you have power going in then when you turn the head lights on you should have power going out.Power in would be the red wire and going out would be the yellow wire when you turn the lights on.Does your vehicle have twilight sentinel? This is auto lights where they go on by them selves when you have them in auto mode.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Head lamps

Push the interior light defeat button (by the headlamp switch) 4 times in a row. Auto headlights now off. To turn feature back on, push button 4 more times or turn truck off then restart.
