In the Trunk .To access the Fuel Pump just remove the Upper Back seat and Fire Wall .

    also the Fuel tank is in the trunk .Like if you were gonna change the Radio speakers

Inside the gas tank. remove the gas tank and its right on top. remove all 3 screws and turn and pull out.

Where is the thermostat located in a 93 lexus gs 300
The thermostat is located on the side of the engine block which follow the bottom radiator hose, it should have 2 nuts on it. You should also temporary remove the air intake hose for ease of access and remove the thermostat.

Where is the fuel filter located on the Lexus GS300. I was told the gas tank, and would be a 3 hour job? Is this about right?
The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank and it can be reached by removing the back seat.

It should be between 1hour and 2hours.
