Sounds like a power wire short.

If you have a short in the power wire to the seats, it will cause the fuse to get hot...and blow.

Look under the seat(s) to see if any wires got run over by the seat tracks.

A good way to troubleshoot the problem is to disconnect both seats from thier factory anthenol connector, and put fuse in. Plug in each seat. When the fuse blows, you will know which seat is the 'culprit'/Short (power wire going directly to ground)

Inspect problem seat's wiring, check for shorts.

2004 buick lesabre driver door module not getting power

ddm-undefined-undefined-0.jpg Hope you can read diagram. The two orange wires are voltage to ddm. One of them, power window circuit breaker--30 amp. the other is fuse 7--10 amp drvmdl. Both hot all the time, use test light to check. The two wires, bottom left, are grounds, black wire with white tracer and black wire. If you suspect a ground problem, you could try a redundant ground, just a jumper wire that goes to clean metal spot.

Does a 1987 gmcjimmy s-15 have a power window relay ot any relays at all cuz my power windows stoped working it runs a 30 amp circut breaker can the circut breaker go bad?

Anything can go bad, but to my knowledge circuit breakers seldom do. If you have a test light, pull the circuit breaker and probe both terminals for a power signal, with the key on. One terminal should show voltage with key on. If not, check the power distribution box for a blown maxi-fuse, or the wiring from that box to your fuse panel.
BTW, no, no relays are in the window circuit. So if the circuit breaker has power to it, put it back in and check for power on the driver's door master switch-one wire on the master should have voltage with key on. If no hot wire to the master switch, check inside the door openings for a broken wire. If you do have one hot wire there. check the power windows ground-the ground wire for the power windows originates at the master switch and goes back into the cabin to a nearby ground. Put one lead of the test light on the hot wire (key on), and probe the ground terminal at the master switch-if your ground is good, the test light will light up. If the ground is lost, no light. Check for a broken ground wire in the door opening, and/or find the ground and see if it is bad. If the master switch has a hot wire and a good ground wire, replace the master switch.

My 1998 olds 88 would crank but would not start, could not hear the fuel pump run.also the power windows and the power seat would not work, all stoped operating at the same time.

Need t check the basics first....are all fuses OK?
Needs spark at the spark plugs
Needs fuel at the plugs
Needs good "suction"
Once checked one of these will be absent.

Engine dies and won't restart. Cranks fine, but not run. Oddly, the electric seats quit working at the same time. Can test to see if will run just by testing to see if seats move. Has to be electrical, but...

Could be plugs, distributors, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors for the starting part. Remove the seat, remove the controls and .lean and replace the plastic plugs in the seat motor repack with plenty of grease.

My electronic seat control stoped working

Sounds like no power to the seat motor or yransmission. There isnt a fuse for the seats, First start with the seat switch. It might be just loose ( a common fault ) If not loose, take a test light and start checking for power. . Possible bad switch, motor, transmission, or wiring.

Brake lights inop on my 88 T-bird

Check your brake light switch. If your car has cruse control, set it at a safe speed and step lightly on the brake pedal and release. If it doesnt disengage then brake light switch is bad.

No fuel getting to engine

Check to make sure you have power going to the fuses (with a test light) for these items, it sounds to me like you may have a blown fusible link or damaged wireing going to the fuse panel.
