SOURCE: fuse problem in my kia sportage 1996

Are you sure that you looked at ALL the Fuses? Could be the Cigarette Lighter Fuse or a Fuse under the Hood in That Fuse Box. There are a Few fuses that Link between the Fuse Boxes and Have Multiple Functions. Try this and see.

SOURCE: cruise control and horn stopped working

You need a new clockspring. It is behind the steering wheel, at the top of the steering column. It has wires wound around it like a clock. You will need to disconnect the battery, remove the air bag, then the steering wheel, and the steering column trim. Unbolt it, and install in reverse order.

I had a new starter and battery put in my 2006 Lexus 330 es and now my radio and horn are not working. It is not the fuse, dealer checked and it is fine.

Your dealer checked it? Lots of these newer cars have systems on their radios to prevent them from working when the battery is disconnected. Sort of a device to deter theft if unit is not going to work. Thing is that the dealer has a code that is entered to reset the radio and get it to work after the battery is re connected. Surprised the dealer did not check for this.

Horn keeps blowing on 1995 riveria won't stop till fuse blows

This exact same thing happened to my 1994 Buick Skylark Coupe. It started to go off just now and then, and it wouldn't stop until the fuse blew (like you said), or I literally punched the steering wheel repeatedly and sometimes it would stop. I assumed the horn was shorting out. One day it just stopped working all together. I took it into the dealership and they said that it had in fact shorted out. I bought a new horn kit on eBay, and had it put in by one of my buddies that is a mechanic for a Nissan dealership, and it resolved the issue. I'm guessing your horn is shorting out as well. I'd bet that the same exact horn that is in the 1994 Skylark is also in your 1995 Riveria. Not SURE, but I'm guessing. Check around for a replacement, or ask the dealer if they can order you one. Hope this helps!

Nothing works in the car. lights, windows, horn,

Hello Ricard.
You have blown a fuse that supplies power to most of your car.
I would suspect the one you are searching for will be in the trunk near your battery in the battery junction box.
Look for one that may be discolored and replace it.
If it isn't immediately apparent which one it is you may need to look at each one carefully to see a burned copper colored link at the top of the fuse. They can be tricky to find as they sometimes do not look bad.
I will in some situations switch the same rated fuse for another and see if it makes a system work.
If you need more advise or help please leave them in "add comments" and I will check for your message.

2002 Saturn L100 No Cruise control, audio after panic horn

The body control module (BCM) controls the operation of the horn for the security system and remote keyless entry (RKE) functions. Circuit 28 is grounded by the BCM when the horn operation is desired. Normal operation of the horn is performed by the horn switch grounding the horn relay and is not controlled by the BCM.
You don't need to take this to a dealer ,besides there are no more saturn dealers . Try a independent repair shop .
Does the cruise control light light up when you turn the cruise on ? Have you checked the fuse's ?

Horn stops work periodically

hi , if like a similar problem i had years ago , the problem is either a bad connection on the steering wheel or an earth fault on the horn its self ? the car i had the fault on was a mk1 golf and under the steering wheel was a copper strip round the neck of the wheel where its connected to steering rod.....the connection (similar to a motor armature brush) was not making a good connection, i cleaned them with wire wool and hey presto. hope this helps??

Radio CD not working & lights don't flash remote keylock

Sometime the computer in car will shut down a circuit when it sees a problem even if it only occure once. You can try to disconnect the battery for at least 2 min so all sys power off (some have capacitors that mantaine a charge for short time). If a battery disconnect does not clear problem you have go to dealer and have them to clear codes and reset you modules and your preferences

Pontiac Aztek GT

Ours did the exact same thing. It eventually did the 'disco effect' where the head lights were flashing constantly and horn honking. It would only stop if we took the fuse for the Body Control Module out for 30 seconds.
Only that was a temporary fix. It finally got so bad that the car locked itself down and we had to take it in. The BCM had to be replaced (cost us $350) and it seems to do a lot better, but the radio is still locked but it might just have to be reset. Hope it helps!
