1995 Ford Taurus was running fine started to surg now won't start

Car sat for over a year. We just bought it. Drove it home, ran fine. Had some bad weather (lots of snow) and last time I drove it, it just started surging and sputtering. Now it won't start. It was low on gas, we put gas in it. Husband has tried to bleed the fuel line? Not working. Any suggestions? What is the valve for in the fuel line/something to do with the fuel injection? How can we start this car? Just won't turn over. Car goes on, seems like it should start. Won't fire.

Take it back to where you got it and make them refund your purchase price. If they refuse and you finianced it go to them, There a law called "The Lemon Law" that makes it unlawful to sell something like that. Sounds like you sure bought one. Don't do anything to it just get hold of the place where you bought it and tell them to come get their junk out of your yard! dhgill1949

1989 ford taurus,,When you go to speed up ,it will only go to 25 mph, then it will start back fireing,,we have changed the fuel filter.It sat for 2 years before we bought it,,it ran fine when we drove it...

Check fuel pressure while driving and running bad.

Car won't start without adding gas to air intake then won't idle

Check the fuel filter, you may have clogged it when you filled the tank.
