I have a 93 cadillac deville and trouble starting

When i start the car i have to keep my foot on the pedal or it will stall out for at least 2 minutes if sitting cold and i have to let it sit a few more minutes before i can drive...if i remove my foot from the gas pedal before it warms the engine struggles and the gas pedal pumps a few times while trying to get going....after a few minutes it runs fine and if i get out and restart it a little while it runs fine but if it sits for a few hours i have to wait and let it warm up for like 5 mintues before i can go

Change fuel filter, and air filter. After your change the filters hook a fuel pressure guage to the fuel rail. The spot to hook up at looks like a valve thats on your tire. Should be no less than about 35 psi. If fuel pressure is good and it still struggles during warm up. Look on the throttle body and see if the linkage can be adjusted or if there is a adjustment screw. All else fails change throttle position sensor.
Wouldnt hurt to put new spark plugs in if you havent already done so.

Check your IAC idle air control sensor. This is a sensor that makes sure that your car is getting the right amount of mixture with the fuel. It is located in the right back of the engine behine the intake. If this helped pleae rate

I have a 87 cadillac sedan deville 4.1 did nthe warm and power buttons its ncomin up with trouble code e27 and e52 what doesn this mean and what do i have to do to fix it runs but no power

E26 and E27 which is "Shorted throttle switch signal" and "Open throttle switch signal".
The code E52 just means that the ECM lost power or ground or that someone forgot to clear the code after hooking the battery back up. It could mean a bad computor but not very often. 2 things that come to mind is a bad ignition key or lock cylinder or a faulty neutral safety switch. Try the other ignition key first. Then with your foot on the brake pedal hold the key in the start position and move the shifter slowly from P to D. If it tries to start then the NS Switch is bad or out of adjustment. If it still won't start then you will need to troubleshoot the ignition key/PASS KEY system for an open wire in the steering column. Hope that helps. Bill

Car stalls but easily restart when applying small pressure to gas pedal. also has problum holding start when key ignition is applied only must use gas pedal to start must keep pressure on peadl to remain...

Sounds like you have a either a vacuum leak or a cracked fuel line allowing extra air to be sucked into the carb fuel mixture. Make sure all small to medium sized hoses are well attached to their fittings and do not have any cracks in them.

2001 DeVille will start fine but won't continue to idle without keeping your foot on the gas pedal

Have it scanned and look for codes first, but then fuel trim, O2, and MAS air flow readings. I'm going to guess it's running lean and you have an air leak in the throttlebody.

My 79 cadillac fleetwood keeps stalling but starts up quickly before stalling every few minutes

there are most likely alot of vacuum leaks or the carb needs the mixture adjusted.
