Ford explorer xlt front end collision won't start

Will turn over and then dies. we think it is an emergency kill switch. please tell me the location of it so I can trouble shoot the problem. also if you have any diagrams on the location of the points where you mount the fenders I would appreciate it. as the fenders need to be replaced.

Could be 2 things. One would be the inertia switch. And the other would be the factory alarm system. Does the "SECURITY" or "THEFT" light flash when the key is turned on?
For the inertia switch, you will need to locate the switch and press the button on top of it to reset it. Good luck, hope this is helpfull.

Engine just stopped on my 2003 Ford Explorer XLT

First check all fuses next clean the battery cables and power disribution box cable and lug next go to the engine ground and the starter cables and clean them while under the truck inspect the braided cable that comes from the solenoid to the starter case in the front if that cable/wire is broken you lost the ground connections for the starter and the engine died because of the open circuit if all is well the possibly the starter just went inside the armature or solenoid did you check battery voltage it should be around 13.5 if it's good then you can rule out that and the alternator this is strictly a starting issue from what you said in your post

Fuel safety switch location or other reasons it won't start after crash.

Generally speaking, only Ford products have a safety switch or inertia switch for the fuel system. This includes some Mazda models.
I would start with the basics and check for power to the coil and the fuel pump relay.

Kill Switch in 05 Pacifica

Yes! It should be located near the fuel pump by the gas tank, could be located near the wiring going into the transmission, or it might be behind the upholstery in the very back.

Where is the emergency fuel shut switch located

Paul,
It is impossible for me to tell you where the Inertia Switch is with certainty, as you have not included the year, & model of Ford you have. That said, most Ford models have the Inertia Switch [which controls power to the fuel pump] behind the kick panel on the passenger side. The kick panel is the plastic panel just above the outer edge of the carpet, directly in front of the front inner edge of the passenger side, front door.

Front wipers not working right

Hey paul. It sounds to me like it is in the switch itself. I had a ford truck that some wiper options quit working on and it took replacing the blinker switch.
