Hello, bad spark plugs can cause an engine misfire, hard starting, bad fuel economy or all of those. There are other malfunctions that cause these conditions as well, like low compression, bad fuel injectors, bad ignition coils, just to name a few.
One of a multiple solutions .Gotta have fuel /Gotta have fire.If you have both possoble broken timing belt..With a broken belt sound of engine turning over than be different than normal..Some say like a sewing machine due to no compression. Check fire at a spark plug..If you have fire have someone tap the bottom of the fuel tank with mallet while turning over..Nine times out of ten vehicle will start if fuel pump bad.May start again but not for long...Good Luck
The minimum compression required is 95 psi, below this there is no good combustion, incusive the spark plug gets wet in gasoline
If this condition exists, you should check the piston rings and cylinder surface
You could have a bad coil pack or a bad fuel injector. swap out the coil packs from the misfiring cylinders and put them in the cylinders that are known to be firing correctly to narrow it down to determine if it is the coil pack first. When is the last time you changed the spark plugs? Pull them out of the misfiring cylinders to check the condition of the plugs.
If you are referring to the mag wheel puzzle lock, storage is an optional location. The RX300 has a number of storage pockets, so check the spare tire area and tool kit, then the rear storage side pockets, glove box, console sliding drawer at bottom of console and your map pockets on the doors. If the puzzle key is missing , go to the dealership. They will have a matching master set and can order a replacement after identifying yours.
If the car is missfireing, don't try to patch it one plug at a time. go ahead and replace them all at once. It will save you 5 more cylenders to hunt later.
