Occassionally when I start my Envoy put into R service traction control lights do not turn off, when return to P and turn car off and restart Envoy the service traction control light turns off. What could be the possible problem? Also, what is suggested repair for service traction control light?
The light has to be on when it is checked. Also it could be something as simple as tire pressure that is causing this.

{: ) Your stabilitrak system may not work properly. The vehicle need to be scanned for trouble codes. In case you get a C0196 code, the recommendation is to reprogram the electronic brake control module. I hope that's the only cause.
