The front left and right ABS wheel speed sensors need to be replaced together. If you just replace the drivers side or passenger side, the light will come back on. If you are experencing ABS shutter, or when you apply the brakes, the ABS unit will activate the affected wheel, causing a horrible noise and feeling in the brake pedal/ steering wheel, one or both of the sensors are transmitting confusing data back to the pcm, causing a false " wheel lock signal" activating your ABS module.
These sensors are fairly easy to replace for someone that has done car repairs. I did both of mine on a Saturday morning, took 3 Hrs. I would only replace them with genuine Chrysler parts.

My Honda odyssey came with the code of p1676 what it that mean

This code is for a failed ABS or Traction control signal to the power train control module. Did the ABS light come on? If so, you will need a diagnostic scan to isolate the cause of the code. It could be an ABS sensor... wiring... ABS relay/module etc

My ABS lights on in my car

Hello
Whenever the ABS warning light comes on in the instrument cluster and it stays on it means the systems electronic control module (computer) has detected a problem in one or more of the inputs to the module; an ABS fault code is present as long as the ABS light is on. So what must be done to correct this? You must have the ABS electronic control module scanned with a special tool to read the fault code, and then a trained technician will diagnose and repair the defective part or wiring. Most times this is a wheel speed sensor (one for each wheel) that gives an erratic signal. While the light is on all you have is regular non-ABS brakes.

ABS light on a 1998 chrysler cirrus comes on only after the doors lock when driving down the street, why?

This is the short story. The transmission sends a signal to the ECM that sends a signal to the BCM (This is what locks the doors) The ECM also sends that signal to the ABS. When the ABS doesn't sense a signal from the wheel sensors, the ABS light comes on. Have the codes checked. Let me know. Randy

1999 Buick century anti lock signal and trac off displayed when traveling over 60 miles per hour

You will be best off bringing the car in for service. If the anti-lock signal comes on, it means that your ABS system has a fault and you do not have anti-lock brakes functioning. When the light comes on the car runs on your brakes alone, no anti-lock.

To check the codes and the ABS system, the car should really be serviced.

Good luck!!

I have a BMW 1999 wagon with 64,000 mi . It runs great and I feel no apparent break problems. But... the ABS break light comes on with the triangle (caution) with the circle arrow with the exclamation...

The ABS brake light will go on whenever it doesn't see a signal coming from the wheel speed sensor on any of the 4 wheels.

May need to have it scanned for ABS Brake codes to determine which wheel is affected.

Abs light ,trac off, and service engine soon would come once in awhile, but now its on all the time. my turn signals sometimes won't work either.

These are differnt issues. The Trac off light is on because the ABS is on most common reason is because of a bad abs sensor which is part of the wheel bearing unless there is any damaged wiring.Your check engine light is on for another reason there could be many possibilities. The turn signals may be the hazard switch or turn signal switch. You should take to a repair facility that has a scan tool to tell you what are causing the abs and engine lights to come on.

ABS LIGHT COMES ON AND DISENGAGES THE ABS BUT

When the ABS light is on the ABS system is deactivated. Meaning, when the abs is light is on and you brake, the tires will lock up with heavy braking.

Escapes have a common issue of the ABS excitor rings cracking causing ABS problems. Sometimes it activates on almost every brake application. It may set a code in the ABS computer for an intermitten wheel speed sensor or no wheel speed signal. Check all the "rings" on the outside of all four axleshafts. If none of the rings are cracked it is likely a bad ABS wheel speed sensor.

I started my car and the anti brake light came on and stayed on. What does that mean? It went out when I shut off my car.

This means the ABS is not working. However, the conventional braking system is working.

On each wheel that is equipped with ABS (front two wheels and rear wheels if they have discs), there will be an ABS ring in the wheel bearing which has magnets inside it and an ABS sensor on the hub measures the distance or time in between the magnets and it knows when you've hit the brakes or what speed you are doing and so on. The light on the dash could possibly mean that ABS ring is worn or dirty, the sensor is worn or dirty, a frayed cable, or the master plug may have came loose which means there will be no signal sent from the sensors causing the light to come on.

Abs light is on

ok it sounds like you may have a bad wheel bearing if so this will cause the abs sensor to loose its signal from the wheel. if you find u have a bad wheel bearing replace it and that should solve ur problem

My abs light and trac off light are both on

Def the wheel bearings/hub/speed sensor. I just bought a new wheel bearing comes with the hub and speed sensor as one. Runs about 80-100 dollars though but abs/traction light went off and stays off now.
