I would not recommend disconnecting the battery, but just pulling those two fuses number 10 and number 28 because reconnecting the battery can cause the actuator doors for your heating and cooling to break
I disconnected the battery, removed fuses 10 and 28 adjacent the battery and waited twenty minutes. I then hooked the battery back up reinstalled the fuses and started the vehicle. The battery light went out and the battery not charging message did not come back on. I then went for a test drive. I had a celebratory adult beverage because it worked.
