Ok i'm trying to change the front brake pads on 2006 ford expedition and it doesnt take a T40 or t45 torx the rear ones took a T47 but the front ones takes something else the next size is a t 50 a

The front caliper takes a 9mm hex drive socket, and you can order it from Snap-on tools online. Nobody else had this socket and its the only one that is made for that caliper.

What size allen wrench to remove front brake caliper

i just changed my front rotors and pads on my 2001 escape, 6 cylinder. everyone was wrong on the wrench sizes, including the idiots at my local ford dealer. to get the brake calipers off I needed a 7mm hex bit. to get the caliper bracket off I needed an 18mm socket, it was a very easy job but check your wrench sizes first, it seems that every year and model uses different sizes.

2001 gmc sierra 1500. The front brakes drag. I have replaced pads, calipers and hoses. Resevoir is full and gasket on cap is new. Can the brakes be adjusted?

No, there is no adjustment aside from being certain calipers are not binding. Be sure the M/C is fully releasing.

Remove front Brake Rotor

Try opening up the caliper with a flat screwdriver thru the opening in the middle of the housing.pry on the rotor and pull towards you to push the rotor back. That should loosen it up enough for you to get it of the rotor. If that dont work you probably got a stuck caliper and have to release the brake line and do the procedure again. GOOD LUCK
