Where do i plug in my trailer wiring harness??

I cannot find where i need to plug in my trailer wiring harness for my 2001 Pontiac Aztek. Any ideas?

    i dont have a hitch on my car yet, i am trying to figure out where to plug in the wiring harness to my car though. in my dads minivan it is located behind the panel in the rear of the car, i took mine apart but i couldn't find it.

The socket should be beside the tow hitch. If not you will need to connect a socket and patch it into the wiring of the rear lights. Here is the wiring diagram http://www.western-towing.co.uk/acatalog/Trailer_wiring.gif

The blue wire from your aftermarket radio that connects remote for a amp has to go to factory harness purple wire there is two purple wire so you need to try either or and it will work i just did one on an 2004 aztek

i had the same problem with overheating. the main harness going to the cooling fans from the 12v source. it is blue and attatched to the back side of the radiator. it's a bad connection causing the fans to cut in & out. remove the harness and splice the cables, and you should be find
